hmm… I remember once you complete tiling work, tacedit can generate the road system in a *mea file? then GU icons use this road system to move on 2d map. GUs move along roads in 3d world too.
if Demer’s new trick make tiling job easier, we may need a NEW tool to do the work…use big tile texture as background, place objectives and draw road network manually - or import some obj/road data and process automatically.

LOL……not my bad, I stated TE only with the last release. In the previous release I believe I stated that the DF module and IA needed a good look at. Not just in Guam but overall.
BUT U a smart man, so open TacEdit and Export the Objectives from TE_New then close. Reopen TacEdit and Import the objectives to Instant.cam and Save…good to go…except this little peculiarity in BMS now:LOL!!! No Clue and NO time to investigate the Rack Data on that little puppy, could be the Sim Data……DUNNO,don’t care, pick another damn airframe!!!

Nothing wrong here with U1/2/3 Thunderbird model in the DB’s. That’s a DB issue. Porked another one eh?? HAHA

@ A.S you will also need to copy into the Guam Campaign folder the current BMS f through f13 files…… that should fix the Air frame problem in IA\DF.
I did not, as that was not a focus point for the release. CT #'s often move with each new .exe\DB and I have not had the time in Falcon recently to do what I usually do, that is updating the Theater DB to the new BMS DB…Sorrydemer

just to clarify a point , if I may. I personally have redone the tiles in Guam no less than 4 times due to the fact that Demer is taking the time and effort to search new rabbit holes as he finds them. That is the motivation for developing BMS and pushing to understand what we don’t know. We all would like to have perfect error free products to display but in reality all we need to impress are ourselves and our timelines are our own. Why not help and explore a “hole” or two, two looking is better than one. If nothing ever changes nothing will ever improve.

Umm, I’ll have to decline on that. I have my own things I do and contribute to the community. Me, I’d rather get things done and not rely on some “rabbit hole” in the hopes that an ear pops out.
Things are changing all the time in the Falcon world, I’m not real worried about that.

The THREE POC’s, that’s right three,…guess we missed the buildings in all the dazzling lights…LOL!!!
Are working well now on my POS WalMart 'puter. FPS ~50 in IA with a bunch of other Air frames flying.AND I mean a BUNCH, I have a few more Mig29’s inbound @ 20K feet…50 of 'em, I never win, but that is a moot point…LOL!!!
So time to add some Foliage, remember there are no Tiles (so to speak) so I cannot AutoGen them…that’s OK
BUT using the technique I can have them drawn on the “Landmass” feature and maintain the FPS.Feck’n Spook’y
DUNNO why they are drawing that way at night. Gettin’ almost to Real even for me……ROTFLMAO!!!
