YAME64 suite
-
The YAME server is running. The “key server” item is checked.
Does the 8080 port need to be forwarded in my router?
The public address is not mentioned in sender.js, but I’m running on a LAN and the local server address is mentioned three times. If you are sending over your network I would indeed forward the port.

No joy. I’ll quit bothering you guys about it. I appreciate the help. If I ever figure it out I’ll let you know.

I’ve just installe YAME to replace the MFDe in a client -server configuration. the system sometime it works and sometime not… before to say that i have problems i would like to understand the right config I’m a little bit confused about that.
I setup server with
listening port 53000
exporting flight data
use Direct3D hook listening port 53100So what port have i to setup in the client?
only one port could be set 3D hook is not able to be enableAs i understand in the “track” section of the manual remote client is always used as texture data it’s a server issue the Hook extraction… so what is the meaning of Hook listening port? and why is not enable on client? ( because Falcon is not there?)
On my BMS server PC i found, after installation, YAME set with admin right but on client no is this correct?BUGS
1. YAME CLIENT when i try to set export texture data i get a windows error (no code just “YAME64.exe stopped to work” … yes i know is not logic but a warning like if in client tab if “get data from Falcon BMS” is preferred .
2. When i stop Falcon and YAME Server, YAME Client stop itself automatically (or it seems so) than if Falcon, YAME server and client are started (without to exit) again YAME client gave error (not codded as above)New feature request
A small gauge/indicator that show if YAME server is connected and extraction available (like heartbeat or app status) especially during first setup for to check ports and connection you have to run always falcon and start flight also a test button on server can help to check the instruments like in preflight check list that switch on all the light and move to full scale all the indicator (or change the image to the texture data).at the end… great job
BravoCiao

Another question about Key Server
may I add functionality to the HTML page? i.e. may I add other callbacks like Gear down and so on?
I’m using the iPad as ICP with the iFlyBMS ( introduced by ICE if I remember well) via the TouchControl APP that is very versatile and if i’m right can handle also POST or JS, my target is change the key emulation with your JS that may be could work also without TouchControl serverotherwise I can migrate on a full web based extended tablet control

There’s already a version WIP that has the entire pit with clickable switches for YAME. got to go now but will try to find it back for you asap.
I even started on an MLU version too, but never got around to finish it. -
Focaldesign,
The new version…how can you use the mouse to click?
I understand how it can be utilized for touch screens but how can it also work with a mouse? (The extraction are at a different screen than BMS). -

I understand how it can be utilized for touch screens but how can it also work with a mouse? (The extraction are at a different screen than BMS).In theory, and how I test it primarily, is by using BMS in -window mode, the alt-tab out of BMS and click on the items in the YAME windows.
However, that’s the theory and testing. It’s not really intended to be used by mouse but made for touch screen users. As a touchscreen mimics a mouse click, that’s how we have to make it. -
Same issue losing all the extractions when a player left 3D in Balkans campaign. I returned to base and I did several traffics in Amendola. Each time I had weight on wheels I recovered all extractions but each time I went airborne extractions disappeared again. I recovered everything in all touch downs.

Sorry if this is a noob question:
I have just installed yame64 v1.1.0 and VC++Res for VS2015.I can run it and see the yame64 suite window,
then my mouse left and right button stops responding,
I can move the mouse but that is it.
And I can not close yame, now it seems my windows hangs,
even ctl-alt-del does not work.what is wrong here?
please advise. -

please advise.Sorry to hear. Unfortunately I cannot replicate this behaviour. Maybe Roccio or BVT_Scorpion have an idea?
Or other users? Some things that have caused problems in the past I noted down, maybe some of these apply to you?
- Windows aeroglass disabled might cause issues
- enabling “trama S3TC” in OpenGl Texture compression might cause issues
- SLI issues
- AFR - Crappy FPS (not really sure why, have never tried it before)
- AFR2 - Good FPS - No left MFD and RWR in YAME.
- SFR- Good FPS - YAME rendering fine.

Have you installed the 64 VC++Res 2015 package?
What hardware + drivers do you have in that system? -
Little suggestion - can it be made so i’ll be able to drag the client window around by pointing anywhere in it and dragging? as it is in MFDE?
Problem is i use win8 tablet for mfd and it’s a bit of a pain aligning mfd window without a mouse (and a scroll wheel).
Also, in client windowed mode, the mfde’s gauge/mfd will cover the taskbar. yame doesn’t. (again tablet issue).
Thanks! -

Thanks! If you click on a window empty spot (not covred by any gauge) when in ‘edit gauge’ mode you can drag the window where you like.

Not without a mouse i can’t
And i’m not talking about gauges. I’m talking about ‘whole’ ‘window’…
Only way i can use it now is ‘Fullscreen’ ‘window’, but i cant close it/switch out of it without connecting a keyboard.
Not tablet friendly as of now. -
Not tablet friendly as of now.
Nor have we ever claimed it to be.
Most users with tablet so far have used it as tablet via wifi or connected as extensions of the desktop so the windows can be dragged with a mouse onto tablet part. -
I also use it over wifi. Just a little hard to config without a mouse and a keyboard. That’s all.
-
I can understand, but not having a tablet myself it’s quite hard to imagine how things are. So please, if you have suggestions on how to make yame even more confortable to use with tablets, write us (better in pm) some lines and we will take into consideration for sure.

I don’t understand. If your tablet is used as an extension of your desktop, you see your tablet as a second monitor in windows, so you can just drag & drop your entire yame window onto it with your mouse via the computer.

I used AirDisplay but there are multiple solutions available.
