Why there are no F-5s in your list for Norway?
I am finishing the Norwegian F-5A 322nd Skv . . . may post a WIP later tonight. Ideally, I would like to see all four of the fighter squadron skins made available. The DB also has the F-5E which Starrats worked up some quickee skin bashing using the old Renner F-5 skins. Now that we have a more accurate representation of the F-5A I am going pull the bashed skins and just leave the original skins. I have given some thought to adding the Norwegian RF-5 to the DB. Maybe later.
In doing my preliminary research for the F-5A(G) used by Norway, this a/c was used for a pretty long period of time 1967-1980’s. So, it definitely should have prominent role in Nordic.
F-5 Norwegian Squadrons:
332 Sqdn (1967-1972 [decommissioned, first unit to get F-16, disbanded 2015 in prep for F-35A, blue axe]
334 Sqdn (1967-1974) [converted to CF-104, this has the red/white/blue chevrons]
336 Sqdn (1966-1985 [conversion to F-16 in 1984, but stopped and resume use of F-5A to 1985, red lightning bolt, bird w/red lightning bolt)
338 Sqdn (1967-1985) [conversion to F-16 in 1985, yellow lightning bolt with bow/arrow]
717 Sqdn (1969-1979) [Dedicated recon Sqdn, deactivated]
718 Sqdn (Dedicated training Sqdn, 1968-1983, F-5A and F-5B, turned over a/c to 336 Sqdn)Flying Jokers Aerobatic Team - 332 Skv then to 336 Skv

Pls…211 SQN Czech Republic

I might actually consider doing a Tiger Meet scheme once all the simple skins are replaced. But they may take a while.

F-35C,where did that come from ? with pit ?

It’s a, b, and c. we got the b version vtol! for Brits. the A version for Norway, and folding wing C version for carriers usaf. F22 pit from metalhead modded for f35. and the models are older ff6 I think. But we have some wip models that wandiwen is working on. They are still 3dsmAx tho. I need to post his progress to maybe elicit some help.

And here is the F-35A - hope you like it.

Well i saw better F-35 module, that you should use perhaps.

Its truely interesting what happend to that project -
Before ccc and I worked on F35A/B/C project for Nordic, I already asked Hayab about using his F35 … unfortunately, it was not available. This is the best we could come up with in a low-poly format. Obviously, I would love to to be able to put Hayab’s model in Nordic.

Tony, will the 104 (sorry guys, the only Mach 2 jet I am interested in these days) have a pit, IIRC Qawa had one…and IIRC TOPOLO modernized the FM.
Thanks…
Cheers

I like it Ranger, been looking forward to flying this model…I understand Metalhead’s F-22 pit has been modified for it,is that correct ?

@ dfang - you are correct. . . we used the F-22 pit to “simulate” the F-35 pit . . . part of our goal with Nordic Theater has been to increase the number of working pits and apply them to a lot of a/c. Some folks might not like the use of innacurate 3d pits . … but I we think that having something besides a default F-16 pit and having a set of 3dwings for the a/c adds a bit more immersion for the player.
@ Tom - yes we have put in Qawa’s F-104 pit for all three versions of the F-104G. When you download the theater go to the ckptart folder and read the BMS Flyable aircraft.txt file it will show all the additional aircraft and what pits they are using. If you like the Typhoon, we were able to get Qawa’s 3d pit for it working as well. I think we only linked it to the German version though.
And for those curious about the F-35B . . . here it is. I may rework the engine compartment a bit more later.

I like your philosophy.
