Some details added… I think tomorrow i will start to see what to do with the skin and then start dofing/switching. Oh by the way i did revert back to the old burner can as Arty said to save some tris and also i didnt like the outcome when exporting Plus with the afterburner it will be minimum 500-1000 tris more so its nice to try not to make it TOO SUPERDETAILED but at least to be descent. I will try not to overdo it in details as i did with the Phantom because right now i have so many projects running that need to be finished and if i stay too long in only one again they will never finish

Nope. On the video, the victim (except the bird itself) wasn’t wind shield but the engine.

Unwrapping started… Im not 100% Satisfied but its a start i think. I can alter/edit afterwards the colors etc from the skin

You found the point ! From my humble point of view, rather than spending too much time on an unique and highly detailled model, BMS should have a greater benefit with a global update with several good models (better 3D shape mostly, skinning should follow).
Your Mirage F-1 is a typical good example of what can be done (greater above my expectations ) -

IRL Spoilers are used for roll channel in conjunction with aileron, of course only one at a time, Spoiler up the side the aileron is also up…

I know Radium is doing an excelent work on his model that its gonna be in in the official db. Im making only the Greek version for Ikaros. Now if someone want it after the completion for his DB thats a different story i dont want to got my self in a game of arguments and stuff that i really dont like thats why i made it clear from the start about this. Im not trying to get Radium offended or whatever. im making it cause we need it in the database of Ikaros And Radium is planning other versions

Anyway back to topic : First export for the looks I think i will make the skin as i did with Phantom 2-3 Textures…. too look better but the Paintkit did the job i think

Well i left for a bit the skining to check the dofs. I got the idea for the gear dofs till now it seems it works. Therefore im once again ask the gurus here how i can make the dorrs closing again for the MLG? I can leave it as is of course cause as far as i remember anyway with the plane “cold” i think that all the doors are open (correct me if im wrong) at least all the photos i found and i have shows the same.

Normal manner means all doors are closed after every gear’s sequence (up or down).
So : “Normal” position on the ground should be doors closed (Cold or hot bird).
However, doors can be opened on the ground (maintenance purpose) with the help of unlocking levers located in the wells.

Thanks SEG. I got some help regarding the dofing for the doors from Radium (THANKS!) and also i manage atleast for now the main part of the gear to work as it should (The below photo is an test lod export to see if indeed working) Now what i have to do is to dof all the parts of the wheels together and edit the dof multipliers as in sim they get only until maybe 20-30 percent out so either i need to edit the dat file (witch i didnt find anything in it) Or edit the multipliers as i said, By the way reading of the dat file its quite very good written and i didnt expect that for such a low poly model… But anyway… still work to do, when i finish the MLG will be only the easy dofs to add/edit…
