Lightning's MFDE and 4.33

because could be a backup instrument, because if you are using DED for to insert/read some other information could be useful to get time from clock…because it is used from the Pit builder could be intersting to have a similar replica on the screen. As reported in many feature in Falcon it could be also only as an “Eyes candy” if you have it it’s your choice to usse it or not…
-
Then why is it extractable with YAME ???
because there’s a real clock in the real f-16 too.
because then you can read the time when your jet is cold, or when UFC is not available (power issues, battle damage etc) -
Hmmmm another hint with this new version…
Thanx for sharing Varhn.
Anyone had the time to test it and let us know of the goodies of 0.6.2.0?

BMS 4.33 U3 - it working without a problem ! ( on my rig )
Looks more clean and immediate , and I have not seen any flickering on the MFD yet -
Any new features on it aside from just working with the latest version of BMS?
-
I can get MFD extractor to work, but it is problematic.
It takes a long time for it to come up. Also when you want to click “option”, it takes a long time for that to work.
Any ideas why it takes so long?
thanks!

Try YAME64 instead

I tried Yame. Have issues with that one. Once I position a window, it will disappear.
Probably my USB monitors (running with nvidia surround). -
this is my setup. (well, a few months ago) It looks pretty close to this now anyway.)

Nice!!

Nice! I love how the WH is recessed into the build! Feel free to post more pics of your setup!

I need to bring up the software issue again.
When I run setup it bombs out on the DIrectX9C Runtime installation. (I have DirectX 11 installed) is this OK? Is this why it is bombing out?
It take several minutes (if ever) for MFD extractor to “come up” on my game computer. (although it shows up in the task bar)
On another computer it is instant!Any ideas on why I am having problems?
thanks

Nevermind.
I reformatted my harddrive and started over. MFDE works great now!!!Open question:
Is there somewhere that I can see a dynamic picture of the RWR? I have a display that can view pics only. Might work well for that. Also, I have a LCD character display (4-lines). Can I access the text that is displayed on the one in the game? (in shared memory?)
thanks.

Totally no clue as to what exactly you’re asking, but I’ll take a stab…
RWR - YAME and MFDE can both display RWR. YAME even has “skins” for different RWR versions… IIRC MFDE only has 2.
DED display - again, both YAME and MFDE can display this. YAME has the advantage of actually using the in-game display. MFDE ended up with a totally different-looking display due to the font it was using. -
Those programs can display that info onto a display (monitor).
What I was looking for is;
1. The actual raw text that is displayed on the DED. This is for a character display not a monitor.
2. A picture (.png) of the RWR that is refreshed every 1/4 second or so. (I may replace this 'Goverlay LCDSys with a 3.5" monitor)/lastly, anyway to light-up real lights for the landing gear? I just need a file or something that has a 0 or 1 or 2 (some value) to let me know the status of each light.
thanks. -

thanks.Raw DED text and a load of light bits can be found in the shared memory. Check your Tools folder, it contains a sharedmem reader.
RWR (and DED, MFD, HUD, PFL) are also readable, they are all together in one bitmap file somewhere to be read from (don’t exactly know where though). -
Roccio helped me.
I was able to pull lots of light bits out as well as the DED data. It all gets written to a file and used by a couple programs I have.
Now, my character display works like in-game! -
And which character is that? The good or the bad cop? [emoji38]
The q is real…Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk

Is there a link to download MFDE? Every link I’ve found is bad URL . . .
