Hey Judy,
Thank you for the feedback
As we’d discussed above, there is no obvious mark in shared memory that the AB is on and no indication what a plane/block is in the action.
My current method to detect AB ON is
if (fdata.nozzlePos >= 0.2 && fdata.fuelFlow > 8000.0), i.e with fixed thresholds.
IRRC it’s correspondent to F-16B-15.I think I will add BMS specific controls to let you adjust those thresholds (fuel flow and nozzle pos ) for a plane you are flying.
I think we’ll be able to share those values between pilots here to make such adjustment easier.Any other suggestions how to solve the problem?
OK, now I’m a bit confused.
To be sure, I uninstalled BMS completely and reinstalled it from scratch. I now have a clean install of BMS 4.33 U3.
I’ve done some tests with different blocks and here’s what I’ve found:
Blk-52, Blk-40 and Blk-42: the AB effects behaviour seem normal. They kick in when entering AB and stop when exiting. Please note that the nozzle position is not progressive, there are no intermediate positions according to the RPM, for instance. I’s whether full open (AB on) or full closed ( AB off).
Blk-50: same behaviour as described in post #635. In this case, the nozzle position is progressive. For instance, you can find an RPM position (AB off) where nozzle position is between 20 and 40% and the SSW effects kick in.
Very strange But there must be a logical explanation…
Hope this helpsJudy

Thank you for the update, Judy.
According to my algorithm, which is: if (fdata.nozzlePos >= 0.2 AND fdata.fuelFlow > 8000.0)
if as you said nozzle position is above 20% (i.e. > 0.2)
and AB FX is On, for me that have only one logical explanation - fuelFlow is above 8000. -
Guys, I’ve published SSWings beta version 1.1.
Please have a look at main changes on my info-graphic screenshot.- You can select a method for Ground Bumps FX. One, or both, or none.
- You can adjust AB FX triggering. To see current Nozzle Position and Fuel Flow values you can use native BMSFlightData utility from “\Falcon BMS 4.33 Ux\Tools\SharedMem” folder.
Your adjustment will be saved at the current preset. To manage presets please use a table at SSWings Launcher and Advanced Options tab of main SSWings window.
Happy flying!

More options is always better Thanks!

Hi guys,
I’ve published SimShaker - Wings beta version 1.2 with logging bug and Desktop shortcut name fixed.
That’s a release candidate version.
Looking forward for your feedback. -
I could use some help here I’m afraid. Downloaded SSWings_release_setup.exe just now. First try to open it (Win7x64) it didn’t do anything. Right clicking the exe file and chosing properties showed it was blocked. I lifted the block, plus checked the “always run as administrator” box in compatibility tab too. But whenever I try to run the exe, it doesn’t do anything?
EDIT/ I see the exe in the process list, but doing nothing. Killing it and retrying doesn’t do anything either.
EDIT 2/ disregard, nothing an old “did you try turning it off and on again” aka reboot the frakking windows couldn’t solve -

Have you tried to restart the PC? -

Pardon me? Has the reboot helped?

Andre, where exactly are the SSWings files located? I want to make some shortcuts for my Helios profile. Thanks!
-
I’ve described that above, IIRC to Uwe.
The same method here if you need some shortcuts. -
Yeah, and seems like it while it will fit his needs (backing up the \appdata\local folder), it’s not exactly what I was looking for. All I need is to create a shortcut to the .exe file but I can’t do that with the default desktop icon; I needed to download the SimShaker-Wings-Launcher.application, make a shortcut to THAT, then put it in Helios. No worries, working now anyway so all is good!

I have spent the summer doing bicycle tours; come home to find that there is a new SimShaker software for BMS?!!!
Downloaded it….tried it…bought it…money well spent. This is AWESOME! Much improved! Thanks Andre!

Woops, I might have spoke too soon….
After activating Simshaker Wings and restarting my PC I can no longer choose an audio device. The section to do so is greyed out as well as the check box for output to bass shakers. No the correct device is not being used by any other software and it doesn’t show any of the sound devices that I have (two HDMI devices, onboard sound, PCI-e device, etc). Several reboots have not helped.
-
Hi David,
that’s normal, since bass-shaker support is an option.
You’ve already paid for the Sound Module and I can replace your Sound Module license with SimShaker - Wings up to 6 bass-shakers support option license, if you use the Sound Module with BMS only.
If you would like to use the Sound Module with other sim titles supported in SimShaker for Aviators, please, buy that SimShaker - Wings option as well. -
Hi guys,
I’d like to ask those who are interested in BETA version of SimShaker - Wings to make a fresh install of the BETA version with this new installer.
I’ve tried to touch BMS part as little as possible, but added support for War Thunder Aviation.
You can find more information in my blog following by this link https://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2017/08/simshaker-wings-beta-version-14.htmlThank you for using SimShaker - Wings!
