good at least now they reckon the profit the home market could bring to them
still 2500$ is still quite a number of FCC or FSS
they still have a long road to overcome if they want to be competitive -
with intonation to “only millitary requested standard quality” wink wink

yeah, that reminds me the marketting argument some companies used:
a sensor temperature range of -40 to +80°C somethingi could only picture flight simmers using their flight sim at -25°C and up to 50°C
you wouldn’t be able to hold the stick in your hands but it’s nice to know that the sensor would do its job at these temperaturethat’s what i call brain masturbation A.S. it gives you a feeling the material is better, but honestly we will never be able to use them in such conditions
My pit doesn’t pull 9g, although the G meter in my hud (and the jetseat) tells me i’m pulling too hard - but my stick sensor doesn’t suffer from it -
@A.S:
eta 2500$ for the F16 home-desk version - the last time i spoke with them.
OMG, im so sorry… i confused this thread with the other one i just made.
2500$ was refering to https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?31597-Bugeyetech-F-16-Desktop-Low-Profile-Controls NOT Aerotronicsllc.

So how much for THESE ones? Not just brain masturbation… even if I had that much money, I’d rather spend it on something else. If a £500 component can do the job over and beyond my requirements, why would I spend £600? I’d rather use the extra £100 to take the wife out to dinner or better yet, GIVE it to her for shopping money and I’d get better returns on that “investment” than I would buying a more expensive component that is overkill.

Wasn’t there just a run of resin cast HUDs done as a group order from these folks over on ViperPits last year? I seem to recall that one going rather expensive…so I shouldn’t think that any of these items will be (or ever will be) of any sort of price point anyone that isn’t pretty hardcore about this stuff will accommodate.
I gave up wishing that milspec manufacturers would cast off to us at lower prices a very long time ago…why should they - when gov contracting offers what ever price they ask, and in bulk?

Hi, I will post a reply of the email I sent On Sat, Mar 5, 2016 at 7:04 PM if I can. Not sure about rules for that kind of post. Please delete if it is not ok.

Hello,Thank you for your interest in our products.
Our products are geared towards military simulation.
Some of the Flight grips and Throttle grips are of such fidelity that they were controlled by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), now transferred to the Dept. of Commerce as of 2013. As such they are not inexpensive items, and require the end user be identified. (Please identify end user primary contact, name of institution, address, country of origin and contact phone #). Once identified, an export Licence may need to be issued, which costs a minimum of $275, or 2.5% of the shipment total.
The components themselves are quite robust. For instance, some of the four / five -way trim switches run between $275-$650. The radar cursor slew switches on the F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35 throttle cost $2400 alone. Our grips throttles and rudders run between $4500 - $9,000 depending upon the model and quantities.I apologize for asking if this is within your expectations, but I get many requests from all sectors.
Please let me know if we can be of service to you.
If you are a home builder and want grade B / C or D castings for your home pit project, we occasionally have imperfect castings that you can populate with your own switches. The castings range between $100 to $750 depending on aircraft and condition. You many need to sand / and paint.
Thanks

Hehehehe… I guess you can only really be hardcore to a certain level before things just get really silly price-wise.
