Mud's Profile

Yep, passed a command both up and down.
Replaced the Key file and all is back to normal! Thanks Mud!

This was a massive help in getting started with the Warthog HOTAS, thanks for sharing Mud
Had a few issues with the MFDâs which initially caused a USB disconnect error when running any of the TM profile scripts. Turned out to be caused by the latest Win 10 64 bit patch activating some USB power management settings behind the scenes. Once I disabled them all was well. Just waiting for the Thrustmaster flight pedals to arrive and then my setup is complete (for now, at leastâŚ).
I bought F4 when it first came out and canât believe how far itâs moved on thanks to the dedication and hard work that the BMS Team have invested in it. Well done guys and thanks very much.

I apologize if this is a noob question, butâŚ
I cannot seem to engage NWS. I takeoff, turn around, then land. Once I am at taxi speeds, I tried pressing the pinky button and then also the âmaster modeâ mode button. Neither works. Am I to do something else?
thanks!
****edit
I saw an earlier post about devices being connected in a certain order. Iâll try that first and see where it takes me.
-
I tried to move the order of the input devices around, but could not.
I used JOYID and made sure things were in the proper order, but that did not affect the input devices order in the controller config menu.Any advice?
thanks. -

Thatâs true. Cant remember how i fixed it exactly, sry . I had a problem where it would only see my joystick inputs, not the throttle inputs.

thanks. And all other buttons are working? Strange âŚ
-
The MFDs are working, but that seems to be it.
Any idea what I can do? -
Hmm, I donât know if changing the device order in the text file also changes the order in the config menu. So that may be irrelevant.
What I donât understand is why none of the buttons on the hotas are working if youâve selected the proper (Thrustmaster combined or root) in the config menu. -
Been using this profile with my Warthog for a few weeks now and enjoying it! Thanks for the hard work creating it. One question: can I use it with the default key file that is included in 4.33, without losing functions on the HOTAS?

Hey ApacheHunter,
I fear that some functions wonât work properly with the default key file, as Iâve changed certain toggle switches to on and off states. For instance gear up and down position.
Best regards,
Mud

Ok, I understand. What I wanted is the [F1] key to activate the âICP COM1â button instead of the âICP Drift C/Oâ switch. Is this possible?
Verstuurd vanaf mijn LG-H815 met Tapatalk
-
Yeah, thatâs absolutely possible. Youâd have to edit the key file for this though.
âICP COM1â is set to âNUMPAD /â in my key file. The only keys I often use for the DED are the numpad and arrow keys, so for me it made sense to have the COM 1 there.
Groetjes,
Mud

Thanks! I already changed it and indeed it works perfectly. I see why it made sense for you, but I have a tenkeyless keyboardâŚ

Iâm having a little trouble getting some of your keys to work. I got the Target program running and your profile loaded in BMS, most things work on the base of TW Throttle but when I try to switch over to Dogfight Override lets say. I can see on the hud for a split second that it hitting the command but then it goes back off. Yet if i hold the keyboard command down it stays on. Not sure if its something Iâm doing wrong or something wrong with Target. (Had a REALLY hard time getting target to work but its now loading without the USB Error) Also Iâm new to BMS so that could be it too haha
-
Hmm, Iâm not sure what that could be.
Are you saying you have to hold down the key on the keyboard to stay in dogfight mode?

Hi Iâm trying out your profile, whatâs the wheel brake?
