Nordic V2 bugs and issues

Noticed that all weather fmap files are missing. At least one fmap file is needed when starting a new campaign in order to enable “Maps Auto Update” (F4Wx).
I imported the fmap files from Korea campaign, Maps Auto Update works OK.But the weather report is still missing from mission briefing :?
Hoping for a quickfix. The weather report often (at least for me) is an important factor when deciding what weapons to use.

First Theater where i get a black screen!
Switching to Nordic: black screen. killing BMS. restart i have the UI.
Starting a CA: i have the Countdown BG , then BLACK screen, no loading screen, hear the sounds, so i’m in the 3d wold in the pit. ESC …E … BLACK… right corner …click click… (exit exit) back on dektop.I’m the only one???
When i switch to OMA no probs !!!Hi there.
Well do you have an AMD graphics card? IF yes, then DO NOT use any later Crimson driver from the 17.7.1!
This one (AMD Crimson driver 17.7.1) is the latest for the moment that works fine with some 3rd party theaters like Balkans, Nordic, POH e.t.c. ;).

The text is overlapping some places in the mission briefing.
I have edited the files “Element.b” and “Support.b” to correct it.
You can download the fix, just unpack it to the Falcon BMS main folder, and overwrite the original files: Weather and Briefing txt fixAlso included, is the fix for weather report not being shown (Weather.b) and the missing fmap files.

I dont remember this issue in V1.
On the F22 the bay doors are backwards. When Aim9 selected the belly bay opens where the 120 is and when 120 is selected the 9 side bay is open.

There has been no change to the model that I am aware of nor any change to the cockpit files that I am aware of. I can export the models from V1 and V2 just to check to see nothing weird occurred, same for running a winmerge check on the cockpit files.

Andenes RWY in Norway has some problems with heavy flickering at the beginning of RWY 02.
I have imported the 02-20 RWY from Balkans Theater and replaced it with the bad one in Nordic.
I’ve also adjusted the tarmac a bit to get rid of the slips between the segments. Runway lights have been adjusted slightly (centered).Kemi-Tornio in Finland should be using the same 02-20 RWY, but it has the 01-19 RWY. This wrong according to Navaids list and the data I can find in MC.
But this is something for the Nordic Team to fix. Here is some before and after pictures:
Before (RWY 02):
After (RWY 02):
Before (RWY 20):
After (RWY 20):
The fix can be downloaded here: Add-On Nordic RWY 02-20 fix v1.0
Unpack the files to the Falcon BMS main folder and overwrite the original files.I recommend taking a backup of the original files before overwriting them, just in case…

I will check with Nikos if this is good for him, and add it to the list today. Good job again! And thanks.

Swapping out an entire objective set involves the PD/PDF and I haven’t explored that part of BMSEditor yet - If it doesn’t have an objective editor function set I can use LODEditor but there is always some adventure using objective editor. Nordic team members have already been discussing an airbase rework to bring the Swedish/Finnish airbases more in line with the actual wartime plans for dispersed airbases. I prefer to fixing existing airbases, swapping objectives out, and doing that sort of nuts and bolts stuff all at one time to make it worthwhile. This also will call for creating some new airbases tiles as well - so this is a much larger project the way I envision it.

Falcon Editor has objective edit.
And on top of it you can export and import.
So someone else can do it instead of u, export it send it to you and just import it.
For turning the whole thing is very easy.
Just in case export the objective before editing.
Track heading to a piece of paper or whatever u use for notes.
Select all the features first. Turn them. Note the new heading.
Now go to points.
Select them all, turn them to the new heading.
Done.
That easy.Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk
