Hi,
if I would like to use the WDP in a campaign . how do I do it??
RF
That is a very general question where I can’t give you a direct answer to.
It all depends on what you want to do. As always the answer is RTFM.
Best thing to do is reading the 2 artilces “Mission planning with WDP” and “Working with the DTC”. You can find the articles in the download section of the WDP site. But in short,
- Start WDP, you will get to the Datacard.
- Click on the “Open Mission” button and select your saved TE or Campaign file.
- Select the flight you want want to fly with.
- complete your datacard and other setting.
- Save the datacard.
Have fun…

I’ve always loved it, and said it before, from beta to beta.
Checking in.

Hi Falcas I ran the installer today and after I altered the installation path and clicked next, the installer froze up showing a sandglass icon, and after a while a windows installer error popped up and forced to kill the process…
I’m using Window XP and I think I do have NET Framework 3.5. Any idea what went wrong? Cheers! -
Do you have Net framework 3.5 already installed?
If not, install that first.

My monitor has native res of 1920 x 1200. WDP window is too small and cuts off a portion of the WDP display. The window can not be resized to show the full display. Any way around this limitation without changing my monitor resolution??
-
OK, I guess the display issue is not related to monitor resolution, but rather to the non-standard windows text size (125% of normal).
-
I also use the 1920x1200 setting but have no problem at all.
So you can solve this by setting the text size to normal again? -
Yes, resetting text size to 100% (normal) properly displays the full WDP window. I need the 125% font size for most applications, however; so I must log off/on windows to temporarily change the text size to use WDP – an inconvenience, but it is workable. Anyhow I thought you should be aware of this issue. Very much appreciate your donation of the WDP, nonetheless.
-
Yes I think I already have .Net Framework 3.5 as shown below…
This is where the installer got stuck…
A data execution protection error follows right after…
Please advise thanks!

Hi,
My chinees is a bit rusty, could you tell me what the last screen is telling?
It could be the language setting of your computer, is it set to chinees language? -
lolo it says,
Data Execution Prevention – Microsoft Windows
To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.
Name:Windows Installer
Publisher:Microsoft Corporation
Data Execution Prevention helps protect against damage from viruses or other threats. Some programs might not run correctly when it is turned on.For an updated version of this program, contact the publisher.I found out that after I double-clicked the Setup, then clicked next which brings me to the configuration page, every button I press now will result in an error, be it “browse”, “disc cost” or “next”…
I’m using a Chinese version WinXP SP3 and I have tried switching language settings to English(America) just like what I did for BMS installation, but still no joy. My Chinese mates have managed to install without changing the language setting though…
Below is the details of the error report…
Cheers

Hi Fatcap,
The problem is with the “Data Execution Prevention” which is blocking.
Have a read over here to see how to adjust the setting to allow programs to run: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875352Gr Falcas

Very good job Falcas thank you. It was too much job for me to make the mission card weekly in MSexcel
P.S. The wife2.0.rar (for coffee) is the very old good version working properly with no updates
-
liked it in OF, it is top for BMS
-
yeah, especially the atis section!

I get “unhandled exemptions” “Index was outside the bounds of the array” when ever time I try to load my callsign.ini file, or a campaign file (which I have no clue which one to load) R’ingTFM doesn’t show anything about what “Mission” file to load for a campaign. Any idea on why it keeps doing this? I’m sure it’s me.
