Raptor : I just lay my hands (on pdf of course) on the “TO 1F-4E-1” Manual. E version doesnt have folding wings it doesnt have the actuators at all! But anyway i will leave it as is it may be set to off in the .dat file. Also i have the C and E Performance manual to anyone that it might help edit the dat file so the wingman doesnt crash on take off the speed bleed in high AOA and high G’s is very extreme! It is there in the real one as well but from people they fly and had flown f-4 not that much. as i wrote to another topic i made some tests and If he’s taking off from your right side then he pulls too many G’s when airborne to come to the left so he bleeds rapidly Airspeed from aprox. 320+ knots to 80 and he stalls. When on your Left everything goes normal. The test was made in 2 missions the one had after takeoff a almost 180 degree right turn to WP2 but the wingman was on my left during take off. On the second one was a slight maybe 60-70 degree left turn after take off and he stalled in 3 times i had the mission the 4th time i commanded him to switch side as soon i heard “airborne” and everything went ok… Same thing happend to the next flight after me. So i dont really know where to look and what to edit… As soon you hear airborne and comand him to switch side then everything is fine. Therefore 4ship package isnt affected at all! Normal E dat file (unslatted) is far more easy on this. Another thing i read is that the slats are semi automatic not manual 100% i will add 2 pictures as attachment for everyone and if anyone knows how it can be modelled in game (the slats operation i mean)

OK for now im using the tables of original f4e.dat (block 41 unslatted as it says) as the wingman behaves normal and the speed bleed its not that huge. Onward with SEA camo
Oh and i set the lefs autoas it seems the best solution as there isnt any other way to behave as they should. -
Hi, Manos1981
Do you make a new cockpit for the F-4? -

OK SEA camo also ready minor adjustments as well and everything is perfect. On with the next version
Now that i see it in this camo would be nice to make ane short gun nozzle (early) unslatted…. hmmm… when i finish EJ witch also will be un slatted. i might do so

Minor Editing to the model for the ESK version. Quick question though has anybody any idea what the sensors just Below the intakes (both sides) do? Im thinking adding them if they are not too expensive on tris as the model as is allready its reaching the limit
Anyway will look like this with the new parts : (not too expensive after all)

Nice. Did I notice some shading errors on the pilot helmets?

It might. I’ll check it tomorrow. There’s a chance that i might change completely the pilots. Thos used are cut down too much in tricount so the switch for the ejection to work as it should. If i dont change them i see what i can do

If you want it to be really perfect you may want to slightly adjust the sharks mouth and eye. It’s missing an eyebrow and it’s too straight, it should be pointing down
I took this photo of QF-4E 71-1087 which is an ex PN (3 TFW / Clark AFB) Phantom:
Here’s 71-1087 in its original colors before being converted into a flying target:
