Yeah Im running as administrator, and windows isn’t updated, but it never was. I disabled win10 updates right out of the box. I know it turns itself back on on its own whim but I figured out how to shut it off completely. Funny cause the problem didnt start until I updated to U5. Hadn’t had any PC issues until now and I am stumped.

Same thing happened to me, solution is nvidia driver.
Uninstall nvidia driver and install last stable version works fine for me. -

Uninstall nvidia driver and install last stable version works fine for me.Ok Ill give that a try next. Did the DirectX thing…didn’t work, reinstalled BMS again…didn’t work. I click “launch” and BMS immediately closes. No crash log, no fault screen, it just closes immediately. Ill try the Nvidia driver version next. ugh BMS/computers can be a real headache sometimes

engerek is correct !! I rolled back my Nvidia driver to the previous version and now BMS will run in 64 bit once again! Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and special thanks to engerek for having the solution to my problem!!!

Are they going to fix the issue of only working on latest build of nvidia drivers?

You mean will nvidia fix their drivers ?
Better ask them directly -

Many thanks

No, I mean are the Benchmark guys going to fix Falcon BMS U5 only working in 32bit. There’s no reason you should have to revert to a previous build with something such as a video card.

BMS U5 is working no problem in 64 bits
if updating to newest drivers from Nvidia crashed the sim, the problem lies in Nvidia, not Benchmarksims
-
No prob here either on 64bit version.
-
Yeah, I’m running 391.35 Nvidia Driver. Sim only will run U5 in 32 bit mode but will run U4 in 64…
-
shadowplay off!!!
-
I’ve just checked the 391.35 (391.35-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe) driver on Windows 10 Home 64bits Build 1709… no problem here, BMS 4.33.5 work like a charm in 64 bits mode.
Please check your driver installation process, if needed, reinstall drivers and/or BMS. Check your GFX card compatibility with drivers.

xinput3.dll once had a some kind of conjution with shadowplay and prevented me from launching BMS when I updated nVidia driver. Check windows error log to see is there any dll causing the problem.

Open “GeForce Experience”
Settings -> “IN-GAME OVERLAY” SETTINGS -> “Stream EXPERIMENTAL” -> “Play cooperatively” OFF
Works fine!!

I have done everything and I can’t find a solution. The problem is not with Nvidia. Nvidia does not call up benchmark sims and ask “hey is our driver working with your newest update?” In falcon bms setup.exe it shows U5 installed. Like I said, U5 runs in 32bit mode just fine. So there is something in the x64 files that aren’t in the x86 files that allow U5 to run in 64 bit. I’ve compared the x86 and x64 files and they are different. So anyone have a clue what the difference might be?
The first splash screen isn’t even properly showing. It only shows the white text at the bottom of the usual splash screen.
This is the technical support section so do benchmark guys ever reply to help solve issues?
