Saitek X-52PRO Profile UPDATED 3-30-12
-
I’ve discontinued hosting of the “keystrokes.KEY” download.
-
Did some more work to the Sensor Gain control. Not perfect, but better than it was
I will continue to work at making it better.
Going to add a variable speed, pressure sensitive cursor next….compliments of ANDYMAN. -
@Hard~Deck:
Fixed a timing issue which wouldn’t let the “DMS Down” function switch the SOI.
How have you done this? I would like to do the same workaround with my X45
-
If you are using the BMS.KEY file, just map the hat switches on your stick directly to the key assignments in game. For instance Go in to Falcon setup/controllers, load BMS, then find TMS up in the list, double click it then press the button on your controller.
If ou are using keystrokes, then you have to just play with the timing and pay attention to the order in which they keys are pressed in the Saitek Programming software. If you aren’t sure about timing or the order in which the keys are pressed, then go in game and press the command for DMS down, which, (I think), is Control, then Num2, until your SOI switches from your LMFD to your RMFD. pay close attention to what works and what doesn’t, because it has to be perfect, otherwise it won’t work right. This is one of the main reasons I switched to the BMS.KEY file.
Good Luck!

Worked some more on the Sensor Gain…. wish I knew how to make it perfect…:-(
Added a variable speed cursor, compliments to ANDYMAN, for further educating me about the Saitek software!

Good work Hard~Deck…keep it up my man!You are appreciated!

T](https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?6550-Here-is-an-X52-pro-profile)his is one i created yesterday with DX and the profiler…
I thinks it’s pretty good, take a look at it. -
Hey Hard~Deck,
Remember how we were talking about sensor gain? Well the other day I was screwing around in BMS and found that my rotart assigned to Sensor gain in the BMS controller setup actually WORKS! It is very different to AF, the gain is much less noticeable. Even the gauge dosn’t move, the gain is actually changing, try it out?
Catch up soon hey? Got some spare time this week

Added the “Pinky switch” to eliminate redundancy of L-OSB3 and R-OSB3 I had prgrammed to the B and D buttons.
The “B” button on the Sidestick is now FOV(PinkySwitch).
The “D” button on the throttle is now L-OSB6(Dlink), until I can figure out something more useful to put in its place.
The “D” button Pinky-Shift is now the Parking Brake. -
10-16-11 Added mapping image to download.

Cursor speed. Using the profile (mini stick) for TDC cursor, it is OK in A2A and A2G radar, but as a cursor in TGP it is much too fast. Is there a way to slow it down??? I can’t seem toget it right on a TGT in wide, and it is impossibile in zoom!
-
Thanks Hard~Deck…. was working on a profile this weekend… and just could not get it to work how I wanted… your profile is great… thank you for all the work you put into it.
-
Hard~Deck,
Thank you! I just returned to the cockpit from a long absence and dreaded reconfiguring all of my controls. You have made it so much easier to get back up in the air.
-
Great work Hard~Deck. Your persistence has paid-off.
-
Anytime guys, There is nothing worse than watching a new guy’s enthusiasm fizzle as they are faced having to create a profile before they can even start learning to fly FAlcon effectively. If this profile helps out even just a few guys that are just getting started with Falcon…great!! If one of them improves on it and gives it back, even better!!!

What I am really curious about is if this will work for the old style X52’s as well.
Any one care to test it?
I thought I read somewhere that since the new software uses .pr0 format profiles for the X52 that it would work for both new and old…it would be nice to know for sure.

Just did a Campign flight with Shadow, realized I forgot to assign “Uncage” to the HOTAS!
ANy ideas where I should put it?
I am thinking either Fire D, or Fire A+pinkie…
