Oso another question i need to confirm this as well. The outer slats/lef are 2 pieces actually can someone confirm if they move seperately or together? For example in the milviz model for p3d the do have a slight delay between them but i have to confirm if in the real plane they also had

Yeah saw that, I ment only the outer slat cause they do have a slot seperate the outer slat in 2. probably the milviz got it wrong cause every video i saw they dont move seperate. Anyway i will left it as is. But i did got a better animation in the inner slat with its actuators now they move together as ancient greeks say: “as i grow old i keep learning” All theese models and stuff making taught me a lot on how to animate stuff in game

Can someone tell me whats the freaking reason that the afterburner sdof is exported reversed??? I havent click anywhere on the compilation of the dofs needed for the afterburner the reversed thing…. therefore it always exported reversed, maybe i shall change direction in some of the dofs htat are in the series for the AB???
If you are sure that (all) your SDOF(s) are pointing in correct direction in 3dsmax,
and are not “reversed” (if XDOF), then the freaking reason could be that
you’ve mirrored some SDOFs during modelling.:pSometimes some DOFs don’t like mirroring, else they behave strange insim.
That said: never mirror a SLOT helper !!!
IMHO to solve the issue you can try to copy a correct working SDOF helper
or create a new one and place it on the same spot as the bad working SDOF helper,
… the align- tool is your friend here.Delete the bad working SDOF helper, then re- link your object(s) to the new helper.
Check result.Btw. Nice progress so far, … keep walkin’.

Nikos.Thanks Nikos Its the little brother of the high poly one as said still some things to do and she’s ready, for example i forgot to add the front gear rotation when turning righ or left on the runway and of course the slots. for the first one i might need re-parent the front gear parts

I did changed the AB s-dofs to new ones and did the parenting thing correctly therefore again the exporting reversed is there anything else im missing? I mean maybe the direction of the model has anything to do with them?EDIT: Nevermind i found what was wrong. it was the setting of “check limits” when i unticked it everything is fine as for the reverse tick i did it to export the s-dof normally i unticked that as well after

Dear Mano, Your models and work is good. Really are cool. Thanks for all. But, I just want give a advice to you. Your model of LOD file and Textures size is Big. Just try do it please optimize size with effiency and quality.
For example, I don’t remember who do it this; in EMF Theater V1.0 was include F-4 models. That model enough one and perfect just 1 LOD only size 584kb you know ? had 13 different textures, each Textures max size is 683kb.
So, totally they provide and succed only with 10mb perfect F-4 model. They was succeded perfect Job. I believe also you can do this. Just a idea. Thanks. -

Those old lods u saying is the old thoarek’s models for FF. The lates im working on is around 5 mb all together (model and textures) is at 30140 tris.

The EMF models are the same used in FF 5.5 and was very light indeed but lack of detail. What im trying to do is a better detailed Phantom but within BMS specs on the website i have only the high poly ones for now. HQ okay. High Poly okay. I understand. But sometimes effiency and optimization best. Especially with weak machine and internet connnection or some etc. EmF v1 model F-4 was enough and cool. Enough detail.

I have those models u can also ask ccc he has them also. The thing is i needed to do something better than that. Can i ask u for example how default model of f16 runs in ur pc?i ask cause if it runs ok then the latest phantom im making will also run ok. And thanks for the wishes for greek people !

My PC so so enough to Fly Bms 4.33 with default F-16. I flying around 40fps standalone scene. Hi Poly model when complex scene came, doing FPS killer. I think no everyone have perfect PC here. So how perfect, when perfect, where perfect ? Then I am looking optimize good and enough model for other Fighter Planes. Like F-4 models. I try to see your works on it. You doing really cool model, good job. But very High Poly and Heavy Model. forexample; A-7E Corsair. I can fly with A-7 navy model with pleasure. FPS was okay. But for Retro and extra plane why doing heavy model. For only performance machine ? Tallent friends can do this forexample; CCIP F-16 cockpit subject. 2 option available for download. Lo Poly model - Hi Poly model. that s Okay.
