F-4 "Short Nosed" Phantoms

DOF’s and switches can’t be exported or saved and imported to a new file? Then it will need the linking only. Right?
Still lots of work but not as doing it from zero.Στάλθηκε από το MI 5 μου χρησιμοποιώντας Tapatalk
Yeah it can be done but indeed also a lot of work. Each nozzle pedal its 3 pieces (external, internal, actuator between them) x 30…. uhhhhhh even if i save only the dofs it will be a pain in the @ss relinking them. I can always continue mine as well heheh…

Great. Go ahead Mano!!!

Ok with this and that removed the model stands in about 27k tris witch is good! I also removed the slotted stabilator and added the unslotted from -F as well aded the unslatted wing removing the slatted one. Refining some of the details here and there now and ill start to fix the unwrap ti fit to a C/D version and make some skins . At this point besides Old’s Legendary and iconic Phantom i would like everyone has some references especially vietnam era Squadrons, tailcodes, serials to give me a heads up
Thanks in Advance
Manos
PS: I will make the afterburner pedals shorter as well and add an “extension” from the cans to the pedals as supposed to
-

Done some small work today like fixed the extension of the cans and shortened the pedals as well added different texture to them. Still have to sort out the skin a bit and fix it as well to match the C/D versions.
@Apolo most of the links dont open to me sorry!
PS: I might be able to flatten also the Spine to look better than now in the skin i mean did some experiments as well
-
Hmm… Only the first is inactive… the rest links seems ok.
In each one go to the green box where says “PDF Download”! There is also a box with a check option saying Im not a robot.
Each download is a PDF copy of aviation books dedicated to the F-4 action in Vietnam. Very useful for reference!

Another question mainly to the modelers : Is there anyway to get the eilerons “drop” with the flaps as well? maybe make them as flaperons? but that will affect also the normal flaps
