Elli Class frigate for Ikaros (one of the few on to do list)

Hi there just wanted to share some work i started to get the frigates of Ikaros (Hellenic Navy for now) A bit better… and also to make a break from the airplanes and see my skills in something different.
The pictures below is a 10 hours work to get the basic shape ready and start to add details. Im happy with the outcome this far
Elli Class is actually modified Kortenaer frigates for the Hellenic navy.
On to do list (i know people will ask) is also Meko frigates (both Hellenic and Turkish navy).Cheers.

I wonder witch switches/dofs can be used to a ship to get some animation as well… enlighten me please!

From my Kilic model:

Script: LongBow (Double click on 0.Root from Model edit in LodEditor to open Node-Root window)Edit and details how they are where the canon moves up down and at the same time the base of the cannon rotates.
regarding the following the target and aiming to it I couldn’t find the way how it’s done, so they move but kinda strange in regard to the target.

Today’s progress
Made the guns and the Phalanx system… I want to make for start the Batch 1 variant meaning the first ships came in Helenic navy. as i see them more “armed to the teeth” kind of boats. -

About moving guns that lock the target and fire on him and follow it’s path I believe it must have to do with the initial position of the gun which the code must consider as point (0.0) and then rotates it accordingly.
If anyone knows the how to, we would be much obliged… -

hmm u made the missiles launchers I see already.
I can give u the white life boats if you want to save time.
Also I believe I have in good detail the oto melara cannon, with it’s cable and nice metal texture.Don’g now I saw that u already made and the white life boats. Well many furniture I have done already m8. U should just ask.
