@Cloud:
Obi1, revert to the old stations+ils.dat that came with the default install.
If you don’t have it, let me know!!
Cheers,
C9
No problem, I kept a backup. Thanks!

@Cloud9:
Very strange, mate. In my rig everything is working like it should, regarding stations+ils.dat…
Even stranger is that I didn’t touch the file, it’s the original one.EDIT: I just confirmed, my stations+ils.dat file has 17/09/2018 date, so somehow I must have done something with it with Mission Commander without noticing it…
Tomorrow I’ll update the download files.
Thx alot, C9, appreciate all the helpAnd yes, the movies are new, so probably will mess up with the other campaign triggers…
@Obi: the first video you see is because Morocco starts on the offensive, so it’s triggered on the very start of the campaign.
Thx for the feedback, guys!
EDIT 2: original STATIONS+ILS.DAT file available on the first post!
Well I guess the format of the avi’s is preventing the movies playing then on my side.(this happens sometimes with other theaters too, other movies play just fine, baltic, nordic, korea for example play fine)
Also would be great if you would add the Intro movie from the first forum post and use this one when selecting Campaign from the menu?
Or is this already the case? I just see short popup and then nothing. Thanks again

Hi Obi!
The intro movie on the 1st post is the one the plays already when you select the campaign, and when some of the triggers kick in during the campaign progress, other movies play. At least that’s what happens on my rig
I hope it’s working also on your side.
Some of the movies are a bit long and boring, I apologize for that but just didn’t have any more patience to edit them further…:D
Just go to the movies folder and try playing them directly and see if they’re working. I especially like the one that plays when Spain wins, nice soundtrack, keeps your adrenaline pumping
Cheers! -
@Cloud:
Yes, Nuno, I believe somehow you ended up generating the Station+ils.dat by mistake!
Anyway’s, if you look at your Save0 file, you will find that in the Campaign page, Teams tab, that the UK is not present:
http://i66.tinypic.com/28ap8r8.jpg
This is because in the Teams page, Info, the UK does not have a flag assigned, it is 0, which is what the Civilian entry has:
http://i67.tinypic.com/148lv8h.jpg
The flags are assigned as follows:
Civilian 0
NATO 4
Spain 1
Portugal 5
France 2
UK 0
Morocco 6
Algeria 7So two teams(Civilians and UK) have flag 0, and no one is using flag 3, which is an issue. The only time 2 teams should have the same flag is if they’re grouped together and still that is incorrect and shouldn’t be done. Assigning flag 3 to UK brings the UK into the Campaign>Teams list as active in the Campaign.
Also, the naming in the Strings.wch file were incorrect and also in the Theater.irc file which is in the Art>main folder, and I fixed them as I fixed the Campaign file issue with the UK.(Although flag 3 is an ISIS flag, lol, so that would have to be corrected also, but it’s late, gotta get some sleep!!!)
Here’s the link for the files: http://www.mediafire.com/file/4kef0e7u26ubsv2/Nuno%2527s.rar/file
Cheers,
C9
EDIT: I have everything put together to release to the public with all 3 of the campaign files inserted into POH and will upload it after I get some sleep, so that those that want to have all 3 campaign files in POH can get that!!
Hi C9!
Thanks alot for the support, mate, you’ve just taught me another fine aspect of the Falcon “universal mistery”. :D.
I see you’re using TacEdit. On the other hand, I’m using MC, and I would never figure that out, since in MC the UK shows up properly:
I also tried editing my save0.cam with Tacedit and it fubars my objectives and units list, many of them disappear when I save the file…
I guess nothing is simple with the Falcon way, that why we love it!

Cheers!Hi, Yes they play fine when clicking them from outside BMS.
I have seen this before with other avi’s and fixed it by re-encoding them to different format, did the trick before so am positive I can get it working again.Cheers Obi1
-
Ok, everything is working now.
The station+ils and movies and latest files from C9.
Had to re-encode them, probably the audio that prevented them from starting.Cheers Obi1
-
And how about some multi-player campaign for us to kick Mohammed’s butt?
-
Hi,
@Nuno and Cloud9, I have to say it’s a really cool campaign. I am still in the early phase, but so far very nice!
Without giving any spoilers, the story is very intresting and many things happen without noticable slowdowns.
I really like the movies and triggers implemented, it adds lots to the immersion and atmosphere.
Really hope this (movies integrated into campaigns) is being implemented more often also for other theaters if not done so.Thanks again for all the enjoyment it has brought.
Cheers Obi1
-
Hi Obi!
I’m glad you’re enjoying it, I’m also having a blast with it.
It’s nice for starters to have moroccan F-16s as the enemy, those buggers can push you to the limitCheers!
-
a pure-2d campaign test at time compression 16x…just want to check how cam AI running.
to my surprise, RED wins on Day 1 2350… one single Towed artillery unit captures Madrid and wins the war!!
as pic shows, most RED GUs still fighting hard at lower part of Spain, and most RED air force is eliminated… BLUE ATO just failed to stop that single GU and lost the war.
my 2c, both sides could have more GUs, and RED don’t have to capture Madrid to win, just few more obj at lower part of Spain.
-
Yes,
That GU was part of a battalion who’s main objective is to capture Madrid, but for some reason that guys is on steroyds while the others advance at a rather normal pace:D
I had already eliminated that unit from my save0.cam, but haven’t updated the pack yet. Still proceeding with further tests and improvements to the .tri files.
Thx ccc!

Speedy Gonzalessssss GU… -

Interesting… thanks, ccc1tw!
my one little cent is: why not, instead? This is just what happens when efficient special forces start fighting.
With best regards,
-
Hiya. I justed wanted to say a huge thank you for your effort and that we are enjoying the Campaign so far.
One small question. When taking the fight south, what is the best method of moving forces across the strait?
-
Hi! Glad you’re enjoying it.
Well, from the experience I’m having with it, as soon as Blue forces go offensive and gain the momentum, they cross the strait on their own and try to occupy all of the Tanger area. Then, after taking back Ceuta, they should move to recapture Melilla, but that’s what I haven’t been able to achieve yet without give direct orders to the ground units.I’m working on completely new campaign files now, based on many more PAK areas that we have now. On the next version, we’ll have 49 PAK areas, which will make the campaigns much more versatile.
In the mean time, continue to kick King Mohammed’s a**. ;)cheers

Like Rabbit said, thanks for creating this campaign - we’re having an absolute blast with this and dogfighting with those gorgeous Moroccan F-16s and F-1s is just awesome!
Would it be worthwhile to consider a future campaign in this absolutely gorgeous theater in which Morocco is being invaded by Algeria with Spain remaining (initially) neutral and for us to fly those gorgeous Moroccan F-16s against Algerian MiGs?

Of course!
Actually, I’m working on an Operation Exclave renewal and also on a 2nd campaign scenario (Operation Sand Wars), in which Morocco invades Algeria :D, so I’m sure we’ll have alot of opportunities to fly the moroccan F-16s in the desert dunes
Cheers!
-
So, we pushed across the strait and one unit has ignored the enemy and taken Ceuta.
Boom! We won, but we never took Melilla and Algeria has only just entered the war. Thoughts?
-
Ah, I checked the Save0.tri and I think we’ve triggered the alternative win trigger. I understand editing the save0.tri won’t change the existing game, so……
Maybe I can use MC and just add a bunch of baddies in?
-
Hi!
Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the late answer
Yes, you can even erase the lines that define the alternative win from the .tri file and grab a previous savegame and continue with the campaign until you recover Melilla.
Although I find it strange the campaign to be ended so soon (at day 2). IIRC, the alternative win is attrition to moroccan ground forces, and if that was the case, then it means that you’ve really kicked moroccan’s ground forces a**
Thank you for the feedback, since I’m testing the campaign scenarios in 2D only and, most of the times, in 64X speed due to lack of available free time, it’s hard to understand exactly how the units will behave. The best way is, in fact, to play the whole campaign, take notes and fine tune it.
So, all the feedback is very welcomed.
In the meantime, I’m finishing a desert campaign (Operation Sand War) and in a few days I’ll publish it, along with a redesigned Operation Exclave, in which we’ll have new triggers, new balance of forces, many more ground units and some other stuff.
Cheers, keep up the good work
