EA6- prowler/A6 Intruder version
-
Heatblur has also expressed interest in making an A-6E module for DCS. As of this writing they’ve only confirmed they will be making an AI version of the aircraft, though they have indicated that should they be able to secure a license on appropriate terms, they want to produce a full module.

hmmmm… part 2…
Hint:
very easy till now this is an hour’s work…
-
Quick symmetry look
Yeap i did some work also… still drinking my coffee…1 more hour of work to get this far . Either is the shape of the plane is too easy or im getting good at 3d modelling or both -
Ahah, Manos.
I have such a massive 1/32 model on my Bench at this time.
I can tell you that you first need to decide which version you model because there are some sublte yet very visible differences between A-6A and A-6E and KA-6D
wing strakes are different,
the ovbious antennas are different, most noticeable difference is the DECM antennaes Under the wing root on modern A-6s - which are the Reason the strakes have been moved.
KA-6D early Don’t have them, but late ones (desert storm eras) have themand the specific bits for the A6-E with trams obviously
anyway, here’ a link that may be useful to you, best walkaround references i found for my own build
if you have any questions, just ask

They have a colour code table as well: https://www.ipms.nl/artikelen/hints-tips-kleurtabel
They are a Dutch model builder community and the site is in Dutch so if you need translations I’ll be happy to help -

Good to see whilst we are waiting for the ‘real’ thing…

Would love to see a nice A-6 Intruder. I spent my Navy career fixing them and Prowlers. Miss the old bird, but not the exfoliation corrosion
-
Well… on my own, I’m fond of ‘jammers’ of any kind… EF-111A, F/A-18G, B-1 too, I mean, but Prowlers were remarkable at this task too.
And I’m missing them a lot… all of them above, except for Growlers, of course. With best regards.

So sad that the intruder/prowler doesn’t have a half-working model! That cockpit looks interesting and so different from the other one-seater cockpits it would make for a very different flying experience, especially with the implemented carrier ops and fully loaded up.
But, I can see the older avionics/weapons technology, the different screens, the focus on the Viper and I understand making cockpits is difficult, so I understand this is a low priority. It’s just a shame though.
