Happy 20th Anniversary to me!

That’s amazing. How did you get a binder edition with signatures from all members of the team? Also, who was on the team? Was it the original software developers from Microprose, or someone else?
I got this from the original MPS team just after the release date. They gave it to me as I was one of their beta testers. I would presume others got them as well? I can’t be the only one left in this group… Am I that old? lol

hey Marvin,
I had been flying Falcon 3.0 for a few years when the community got word of Falcon 4.0 going to be built. Man were we excited!
We waited and waited, years.
Anyway, I thought that Falcon 4.0 started as a Spectrum Holobyte project, and due to difficulties wound up as Microprose. Do you recall
about this? -

about this?Yes you are right… I got on the team specifically for online testing (we had a squadron back then 469th Madhatters) and that was in 1997 and it was MPS. I can’t recall what year that transition happened? That’s some good history there!

Just asking a question.
I do appreciate this I also long ago back sometime in 2001 or 2002 had in my hand the original disk and was reading through the original fat manual but lost all that goodness long ago.
So I appreciate this. -
Please in future advise that I might be triggered and where my safe space is….

We already know where, it’s in the dorm

I recall hearing of the “469th Madhatters” , or reading about you guys. Maybe on a BBS, you remember those I bet! Was it DOS 2? lol. At any rate, Thank you for your service to Falcon 4.0.
Looking at some old papers I found out that we knew about Falcon 4.0 in 1994, which of course would be Spectrum Holobyte coding on it at that time.
