Hello!
I’m having a wee problem during Match Play / Dogfights. For some reason my opponents - even on separate teams - act like friendlies, therefore not engaging me and calling Buddy Spike when I lock them up.
It seems to happen with any aircraft (I tested HAF x TuAF and non-HAF F-16s x Sukhois and MiGs).For reference, I’m running the v2.3 and have not tested Match Play before on v2.0.
Would be interesting if someone else could also test it out, because it might as well be a local problem here.

Taking off from Santorini my AI wingman had a few problems… he went in circles entering the runway (I was stationary in left lane on brakes), then going back onto the grass, back to the EOR and back onto the runway again until I finally took off, then he proceeded to take off normally. Might be a general BMS AI problem though and completely unrelated to the theater.

Uwe my friend, I just checked Santorini airport with the same F-16C block 52 and 2ship formation, like you.
At RWY 16 with DCA role, and at RWY 34 with SEAD Strike role.
Both times the AI wingman taken proper position for take off, and did a smooth one after myself.
Do you use any 3d party add-ons, even any that you may think it is innocent/irrelative?
What role you have used at the 2 F-16C block 52, as also any specific weather load?

Hello Nikos,
the package is a Sweep mission, no add-ons used (except for the legs-only pilot model). I didn’t use any special weather settings.

Haha, then seemed that you are a little unlucky. Some things happened to you, but not to me. Theater seemed to respect/fear its developer :rofl:
Just joking of course, no meaning of teasing/offending here.If any other friend want, just create a T.E. mission with 2 F-16C block 52 from Santorini airport and note if AI wingman will take normal position for take off without circling around.

I tried, just for fun
F-16C, block 52, two ship Sweep package, in single player mode: my AI wingman aligned properly on the runway and took off perfectly from the RWY 16 with a 5 second delay, just as standard procedure required by. No mods et al. installed.

Campaign Anatolian Hammer. No taxi/landing light (nose wheel lights)on the area in front of the f16 albeit switch is on and they seem to work, no matter the f16 type.
I thing that in daytime same thing happen…;) -
Problem resolved. Per vertex lighting was the cause. When per pixel lighting is enabled everything works fine and i can see the taxiway without night googles
It’s not theater specific. I tried it with all available theaters and same thing happens when per vertex lighting is enabled.
I think it’s all about nvidia settings…
…no it’s an old issue…it’s discussed elsewhere in this forum…and bms manual…I’ve never had such an issue because I 've never used per vertex lighting before… -

There shouldn’t be Iowa class battleships in the first campaign as the last was retired in 1992.
Why have the US F-16C b50 and US F/A-18C been removed?
The mission planner clear target buttons are missing in recon.

Now, we will take a look for TPG and HTS pods at HAF and TuAF F-16’s.
We can see about Iowa class battleships what we can do…
U.S. F-16C block 50 have removed as skins, the jet is still there with HAF and TuAF skins. You can simply replace them if you want with the U.S. ones from the default Korea theater over the HAF ones. TuAF ones needs JanHas LVN2 block 50 skins for replacement.
U.S. F/A-18C skin missing by mistake. It will be active again.
We will take a look at the mission planner clear target button at recon.

Nikos from Patra city of Hellas (ex Greece).Yes I understand it is Aegean and the focus is on Greece and Turkey so it’s not a big deal, plus the US F-16C b52 is in there.
The US F/A-18C in Korea has the AGM-154A JSOW and does not have it in Aegean, I thought this is because it is Finland F/A-18C in Aegean.HAF
b30 330 No TGP
b50 341 No HTS

52+ 336 No TPG
D52+ SMET No HTSTuAF

D50 142 No HTSAlso some of the ones above with no HTS are showing they can carry the 2 piece TGP version and the HTS, which obviously they cannot as you’d have 2 pods on 1 station. I suppose they can only carry 1 piece of the 2 piece TGP if they also want to carry the HTS. A bit complicated I know. I notice the F-16s in Korea that carry the 2 piece TGP version do not carry the HTS which keeps it a bit simpler with no conflict.
And thank you for the great theater. I think it is one of the best ones.

First of all Thank you again for your help. You show great interest and good support to the theater!
Now in order to please you a little, check the below photo of the new Aegean F/A-18C (the same counts and for D model):
All 4 U.S. Navy skins are back as also its proper weapons. You can see the AGM-154A loaded.
The only lack now is the LAU-10/WP due to the fact that is “out” of Aegean DB. But we have the similar LAU-10/HE, so I think we are fine :).
We will take a good look at the TGP and HTS pods to take care of them.
Last the new version of Aegean theater is very close with a lot of goodies (corrections/enhancements), so stay close.
And IF you are a freaking Air Navigation guy, simply take a good look at the folder: …\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\Data\Add-On Aegean\Docs - Extras*Navigation stuff*. You will be amazed.
