Cougar TQS Parts

Super Glue did the job. I used the Future Glue gel. Can’t see the repair.
Thanks to all for suggestions. I tried TM site but couldn’t get on. I have ordered parts from them in the past but their new web site is impossible to connect with “contact us”. -
I finally got the new micro stick piece from Thursmaster but now I have another problem. After pulling the wire (disconnecting the microstic) and then reconnecting it the micro stick showed no response at all. Did I do something wrong , I wonder? Although it is something I did before with no issues

I just emailed Thrustmaster two days ago looking for a microstick, and X,Y, throttle pots. They told me they no longer offer Cougar parts for sale. I tried the “Cougar World” guy and the email address is no longer valid. Anybody have any better ideas? Should I just try to call Thrustmaster? Looks like others have scored Cougar parts from them recently.

Hello Alfred
Glad you solved your problem but it is traditional when solving our own problems to share the solution (however embarrassing that solution may have been) just in case someone else is experiencing a similar situation.
Please can you share your solution? -

Please can you share your solution?of course, after disconnecting the wire connection for the particular button the cougar reassign all the buttons, so you have to redo the installation for the cougar.

Quoting myself here. I actually found replacement microsticks, the correct CTS part. Only difference is that the pots are 10K instead of 100K, but that makes no difference in this voltage divider application. They are coming from overseas, probably be a couple more weeks. I ordered four total. One will go directly into my TQS, I’ll save another for the future, and I’ll probably sell the other two on Ebay.
In the meantime, unable to find X/Y pots, I finally took the plunge and switched my stick over to Hall effect sensors. WHY THE HELL didn’t I do this years ago? It was so cheap, so easy, and works like a charm! I don’t even have them optimally positioned yet, and they are so much better than the stock pots, even new pots. Best (<)$20 I’ve ever spent.

Could you post the part number and source for those microsticks?

I don’t immediately recall the part number, but in the thread below this one there’s a Digikey link, out of stock of course but should have the part number. I hesitate to give info on the supplier until I can confirm that I have actually received what I ordered. I know they shipped me something, because I have the tracking number, but that’s all I know until the package is delivered.
