another test i want to do is… check how dynamic shadow work on a heavily populated carrier deck…
i did not add texture in this test… and just a fly by.
the test model already has " fixed ac shadow node"…looks sharper. the dynamic shadow is granular and blurred- but offset according to sun position. maybe i move too fast to catch to blurred shadows.

another case with complete texturing… last time i saw BMS Nimitz carrier using [texture-transparency node] for the deck, which casting a simple rectangular shadow on the sea. so i’d like to test this…you can find the deck/hull shadow is more lovely, and the bridge/mast/CIWS all got their shadows!!

yes it’s a Su30MKI with TVC nozzle. the model is tweaked in 2003, based on Ripper’s SU-27UB.

ya, too bad no more navy ac from Grumman…
three more test…due to my laziness, i like to use texture-transparency node for canopy… the result is a totally opaque canopy shadow on the ground.:rolleyes:
