Falcon BMS.exe (4.34) - Entry Point Not Found
-
Hi guys!
First off all a big thank you for this new wonderfull release! there must have been hours of dedication and passion went into it.
I think there is something wrong with my configuration. When i start bms 4.34 from the launcher it gives the following error.
“The procedure entry point Direct3DCreateEx could not be located in the dynamic link library d3d9.dll”
Anyone an idea in what i’m doing wrong?
Windows 7. installed bms besides 4.33 in a separate empty folder

Looks like a direct x problem. Find solutions using Google.

Are you running the Launcher.exe and “Falcon BMS.exe” as an administrator?

“The procedure entry point Direct3DCreateEx could not be located in the dynamic link library d3d9.dll” […] Windows 7
BMS 4.34 requires the “platform update” for Windows 7 SP1 to be installed. It is a mandatory update and hence should be installed automatically via Windows Update.
If you need to install it manually, check here:
KB2670838 -
I solved it after reinstalling BMS. It was the direct hook that Yame 1.1 (MFD extractor) placed besides the falconbms.exe. Even when I launched it normally without having Yame open, it would still give me problems.
Topic can be closed/resolved. Thanks for the guys above!

I have a similar issue but the error points to the Falcon BMS.exe. I was just in Instant action to check controls and then exited to continue to work on the Helios profile and Yame64 errors. Now I can 't get back in the game?
I tried the two fixes listed above but neither will run. The KB2670838 installer said it doesn’t apply to my pc. The VC is already running on my computer.
Any help is appreciated . . .
