Hidding a JOYSTICK
-
Hello all!
Just a little question. Is there a way to disable a joystick (not usable for Falcon)?
I’ve merged a few controllers in a virtual joy and now I need to hide the physical ones.

devcon disable and devcon enable

I’ll Google it.
Thank you @Economist -
BMS sees exactly what Windows sees.
Hence the only way is -> unplug. -
You could always use WhiteKnight: https://www.autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=34890
It hides Joysticks from Windows but you can whitelist programs that need to have access to it.
It is a bit complicated to configure. Basically you install it and start it as admin, install the two subprograms (HidGuardian and HidCerberus) and start a mini webserver to whitelist programs you want to use the hidden joysticks. I use it for Joystick Gremlin and Falcon BMS. Once it works you never have to touch it again.
