Easy's Voice Attack Profile for 4.35
-
Hello Easy,
Thank you for your great profile. Unfortunately I discovered an error with the element commands:
You probably did the profile based on the manual. This does not match the simulation.
I tried to adjust your profile accordingly, but got an error message:Regards

Yep, very nice profile, thanks again.

Nice find MadDoc, I did indeed take all the menu’s from the Nav/Comms Manual. The only differences I could find between the ingame menu and the manual are the element commands.
This is now fixed, and as gza suggested I also simplified the common callsign script up to the point that the error messages should be gone now.I also made a little script to quickly copy multiple to other callsign files and added a function that will allow voice activated switching of profile to whichever callsign. see post #1

Many thanks.
I‘ll download and test it this evening.Regards

Best I’ve found yet, thanks Easy. Why did you choose to make a script for PTT rather than just creating separate commands for press and release?
-
Not sure I understand your question but a script was and maybe still is the only way to have multiple PTT keys, it was made a while ago. I recall also that recognizing “holded” mapped buttons from foxy(cougar software) to home and end keys couldn’t be done any other way. I think it’s DX proof too but I haven’t checked.

Abelian did some programming magic on the callsign script
https://drive.google.com/open?id=17MKFd1AFMQepWG8-zxZwwk3kYEBpeLp1
edit with notepad++ to set the filenames, etc
Then it will produce all the profiles and zip them up in a .vax automatically
-
Does that script introduce a new profile for each Callsign?
-
Thanks for the work and sharing this profile! New to all of this so will find a wall to bang my head against a few times to see if I learn any of this!
-
Enjoy! Finally found time to do some campaign missions and I’m very happy with the state of the common callsign profile now; unless you’re a fan of changing to exotic callsigns with MC I would recommend to stick with that one, RAM usage is ok now.
-
Is it possible to add phrases to commands? I would like to have maybe 2-3 different phrases for some commands, for example:
[Done Refueling]Would this work?
[Done Refueling; Refueling Complete; Tanks Full]For some reason, when I say [Done Refueling] it does not like my voice.

Good afternoon, Easy,
I’m very new to using voice command software, but decided the menu system of communication was just getting too cumbersome as it got more powerful and immersive. After checking out software discussions here, I chose Voice Attack and read up on it and played around with it. However, I could see the task of entering all the BMS commands was going to be a lengthy and demanding chore. But, your hard work, and most importantly your kindness and benevolence to share your efforts for all of us to use, is appreciated beyond words! THANK YOU!
Not only has your efforts made BMS even more immersive and enjoyable, but I’ve been using your files to learn more about the ins and outs of Voice Attack and tailoring it to my personal preferences.I really appreciate the time and effort you’ve put in, in addition to the corrections and troubleshooting you’ve continued to do for others. Speaks volumes about your character, Easy!
Thanks again!
All my best,
Rob -
Yes you can add or rename phrases. Just go into the Edit option and find what you want to change and try it out.
-
Thanks for taking the time to write something like that Rob. The profile was a little untried but I decided to share asap at the time as voice control just adds so much immersively and tactically with 4.34. With all the good feedback here it was childsplay to pinpoint an error free practical compromise.

Hi all,
…
UPDATE 04-5-2019
- Voice activated callsign profile switch-command added; Learn your speech engine the callsigns you want to use with Options->Utilities->Add/Remove Dictionary Words for best results.
…
Enjoy,
EasyWhat does this do and how do you get it to work? When I get the text box and say a something, nothing happens.
Edit: I found out that this is a Windows Speech feature. You have to turn on Windows Speech after you select the option “Add/Remove Dictionary Words”.

I think it means to make a profile with only one callsign from the common callsigns, based on a voice activated callsign. Could you explain a little more than post #1 on how to use this feature?
