As I understand it.
If you have a dds file with a number greater than 8042 in the koreaobj folder, for example 8043, you must rename the file 8042 to 8043.bmp and put it in the empty texture folder.
But if you are installing these models on a vanilla bms installation you don’t need to edit that file.
-
Yeah, I did not edit it? Weird that all my block 52 texture are messed up.
its like they have the wrong UV maps or model?I wish someone would create a video of how to install JanHas stuff!
Simple for BMS veterans I’m sure! but there are way to many steps to add his stuff guys.
-
You could try this - has a few screenshots
Edit: - Note Path was wrong in the last sentence - should just be \objects
-
Thanks Migbuster,
will give it a try
-
final step paste here correct > <drive>:\Falcon_BMS_434_1\Data\TerrData\Objects</drive>

in the objects folder?
Thanks

I check his page everyday to see if there’s anything else new to DL, its like Christmas when I see a new plane to install…I know I got the fever bad…haha

Sure? You seem to missed the F-16D Block 40 that was released an hour ago.
-
if I install the Block 40 will it overwrite the 52?
looks like we are overwriting one file everytime in the objects folder? -
Make sure to rename the lods for the DM40. Otherwise it won’t work.

I fairly a modding NEWB! please elaborate if that is okay!
This is the only place to save a aircraft specific model > C:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\TerrData\Objects
how do you have Jans block 40 and 52 at the same time by overwriting the same files?
:noidea: -

Rename it to what please
OK so I added the newly released version of the F-16DM-40 and this is what happened. I have added Jans planes and skins before no problem but this one is not working…please explain to how to fix this and is this messing with any other planes now?
-
You have to rename them Model_0.LOD Model_1.LOD Model_2.LOD and Model_3.LOD

I’m fairly sure that some of these planes share the same files like skins and such…the important files are different names…but that’s just my guess. I followed the instructions to the tee and so far so good…fingers crossed.
