Can you help me? I have the same message
Sure I can sebastianthiago. Will send you a PM tomorrow…
-
Can’t the solution just be posted here, for posterity? I got the same message last time I tried installing those models.
-
For start…

How to know which models in JanHas.net website is 4.34 compatible? Thank you!
-
All the aircrafts, pylons and weapons on his web page are updated for 4.34.
-
Thank you, first post in thread cost me confuseion.

I have a problem with the Block 50 Vipers:
Only some skins appear like this. Others seem to work fine, and all other JanHas Vipers I installed (Blocks 52 and 40) are good. Weapons and pylons look good, too. I installed them all in the same way, following all the instructions in the manuals.
Also, I really need to know how to get rid of the exhaust angle notification.

Sure. Just wanted to keep this thread clean.
But use this key combination…

did you remove old skins from KoreaObj_HiRes folder?

Does it get rid of them permanently? I want something I won’t have to do every time I jump into the jet.

Yes, I did. All skins for this block are in the right folder, and there are no corresponding files in the HiRes folder.
I have a feeling that the download is missing some skins.

No, this has to be done every time
-
Well, then it’s not much of a solution, isn’t it? Other planes don’t seem to have it, so there has to be a way of getting rid of it for good.
-
Well it works and it can’t possible be rated as a hard thing to do. I’m sure that JanHas have tried his best to find a way around this.
-
When I unzip the ALW 4.0, I get two errors “unexpected end of data” and a “data error” with 3912.dds. I have tried re-downloading twice. Anyone else getting this?

It’s not hard, but tedious and somewhat immersion-breaking. Other aircraft don’t have it, so I find it hard to believe it’s not fixable.
Also, CTRL+tilde (I have a normal keyboard) didn’t work. What is the key combination on a US English keyboard?

It’s the key left of the number 1 key on my keyboard, so if that does not work I can’t tell you. You might use another profile for your keyboard than I do…

CTRL + 3 or CTRL + 4 might work. Its toggle flap and engine display

EDIT: All right, LCTRL+tilde worked now… but it removes all on-screen messages. That’s not what I want. I want to specifically get rid of exhaust angle message, while keeping radio subtitles and other messages.
I can deal with modifying some things in configuration files, but not the models themselves (since they are “tamper-protected”, I doubt I could make the fix myself even if I knew how to edit them).

Go to C:\Falcon BMS 4.34\Data\Sim\Acdata\
Find the Flight Model you want to fix this and open with notepad
Find this part:
#–---------------------------------------------------
NVGs - use VTOL commands
#-----------------------------------------------------
IsVtol 1
AFMVtolmaxExhaustangle 120
AFMVtolExhaustrate 2000.0Then change “IsVtol 1” to “IsVtol 0”
Save and test.
