Wingman Extreme digital 3D
-
Hello all. I have a Logitech Extreme Digital 3D that I have had for years. I am running Windows 8.1 on my laptop. I cannot get my stick to work at all. Is there something I’m missing? Thanks for any suggestions that will work.

You Don’t need drivers. ( I keep a new 3D pro as a backup)
If it is not showing in Windows as a device or in falcon as a selectable option then it is dead.
Try a different USB port, or check it on a desktop computer.

On laptops, be sure to check the device and power settings as well. There’s an option somewhere that the computer can automatically disable devices while its running on battery power, to save energy.

After trying the above suggestions, if the stick still doesn’t work on your computer and it does others and if you installed windows yourself, make sure the drivers for the USB ports are installed. I don’t know about windows 8, but to check in windows 7, Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> there should be no exclamation marks or red ‘x’ on any drivers, or even question marks.
If there are, go to the website of the manufacturer of your PC with the model number (bottom of laptop or sometimes top), type it in and download USB drivers or whatever corresponds to USB, maybe like a south bridge driver, etc. for windows 8.1.
