Weapon Delivery Planner released

The trick as of reloading before entering 3dworld is the same? or something changed?
This is linked to the fact that BMS is automatically saving the DTC (rewrite) when you clic on “FLY”
Was initially a good iead, but actually it is not … that is a real PITA when we want to keep the same DTC (replay the same campaign mission i.e.) or when we are using WDP (need to ALT+TAB after cliking FLY to re save the DCT under WDP…
Please please Falcas have this wonderfull tool inegrated to Falcon UI.
IMO, you will never see WDP integrated to BMS’s UI.

why? snif snif. This is superb addon and since it’s free and it’s coded why not?
unless it’s written in different code, VB for instance, and can’t be integrated although code conversion between some code language is easy.
Why have all that trouble save load transfer files with wingies other flight members etc… It could also be used as flight leads send automatically the files to other members when they hit fly or even better before in the briefing stage.
Anyway… I believe in TE’s and large Packages this tool would be great with the above features. Meaning Mission creator send the basic info to flight leads. Flight leads send details to flight members. Also this for MP campaigns. -

Because … if we believe what coders are saying, touching UI is a nightmare. And it is (I think) much easy and practical for Falcas to develop WDP out of BMS code. It is also why it is not included in the installer.

Yeah not before they are going to update the F4 UI.
One of the many construction sites of F4 -
Thank you very much - sorry can´t find it on your homepage
Just click download and you will get to the download page
Sorry Falcas - maybe I´m blind - all I can see on your homepage ( http://www.weapondeliveryplanner.nl/download/index.html ) is the NEW´s about v. 3.0 - in the download section the last entry is 2.8

Refesh the page.

bottom rows of both DC and CC are missing when printed out
is there any way to set the print settings within wdp or should i fiddle directly with printer settings from hp solution center application instead?

What kind of paper size do you use?
The quickest way to get you settled is if you print from the saved jpg. You will get a better quality as well.
Save your datacard and navigate to the jpg.But never the less, I can improve that part.

Save your datacard and navigate to the jpg…i may have misunderstood the changelog then, i used to print out the jpg file in previous versions and they were ok indeed.
-
The print button is now working for the Datacard as well as the Coordinationcard.
The code has been changed so it will take the image of the datacard or the coordinationcard. Then write the text on that image and sent it to the printer.
Previously the datacard was build from scratch drawing all the lines ect.
This makes it possible to print the map for example and makes it a lot easier to implement a change. So if you are taking the saved jpg and print that, you should set your printer so that it fits the image on the page.
It might be that the jpg is being clipped.Gr Falcas

exactly.

I had the same issue. It was Windows being helpful (not). Just untick the ‘Fit picture to frame’ radio box (screenshot attached). It should be called the ‘Don’t fit picture to frame’ instead {sigh}.
Definitely better quality printing from the .jpg as you pointed out Falcas.
Thank you again.

Thanks Falcas for this great update. Will check the new features soon.
So nice to be able to give (humble) personal input and have such quick and positive response. Well done.Obi1

True, and the added bonus… A lot more updates

Just to confirm, are upgrades possible or should one first uninstall the previous version?
I couldn’t get WDP 3.0 to install over the top of 2.8.
- Windows 7 64-bit, Standard user.
- Run setup.exe and point the installation to a non-protected drive location; a subfolder of my BMS install which is on a D:\ partition.
- Prompted by UAC for elevated privileges to run WDP.msi and the process appears to complete okay. However, none of the files in the WDP root directory are replaced. Running WeaponDeliveryPlanner.exe confirms version 2.8.
- Run setup.exe a second time and selected “Repair”. Same result.
Solution was to uninstall 2.8 and subsequently install 3.0 from fresh. (  If this has been discussed within the thread.)
Thank you Cars, however, for the program

Nope, you always need to un-install it and reinstall when new version come in ;).

Hi, Thanks Falcas for this work :bowd:
Checking v3.0 I have just realised that after loading a TE, in Map Tab, STPTs don’t match.
In DTC-> STPT tab, all is OK: STPT1, STPT2 … But in Map STPT1 is STPT0, STPT2 is STPT1, …
If you click on “Switch to Map Building” everything is right with the correct STPTs numbers. On the ohter hand, in Map Tab, “Show tanker tracks” show lines too. If you have “Show line” off and check “Show tanker tracks” on, lines are displayed too.
May be with the new BMS update…
Thanks again!!

If you click on “Switch to Map Building” everything is right with the correct STPTs numbers. As this is working correctly on my side, you have to give me a little bit more information how I can reproduce this.
TE or campaign? Are you loading a TE.ini file? does your callsign.ini contain steerpoint?
If you select a flight is the DTC also save for this flight or another flight? On the ohter hand, in Map Tab, “Show tanker tracks” show lines too. If you have “Show line” off and check “Show tanker tracks” on, lines are displayed too.
May be with the new BMS update…

Tanker tracks and lines are not linked together. The Tanker tracks gives you the opportunity to place line or a STPT or a PPT in that area.
You can also leave it empty as it will show up on your map.
Your choice.Gr Falcas

I’m trying to explain it better
I’ve just created a simply TE, with one flight. There is 6 STPTs +1 (Alternate AB). TE name is pru and there is an pru.ini too.
In WDP I load TE and everithing is OK. In Data card I can see all STPTs correctly. See next picture:
If I check DTC Tab and inside it, STPT Tab, everything is OK like you can see in the next pic:
But….
If I go to MAP tab, here I think here is the problem. Next picture is what I see:
Check that here STPT 1 is NOT my own AB. Here STPT 1 is named STPT2, STPT2 is named 3, and so on…
If I push the upper right button called “Switch to Map Building” numbres are right like you can see in next pic:
All STPT are OK here.
To sum up, I think in Map tab STPTs are not correctly named. I don’t really know if this affects to others WDP setups like PopUp (in which we set our TGT STPT), HADB and TOSS (Sorry I don’t try it yet)
I hope you undestand my explanation.
Thanks again! ;);)
