X56 sensitivity during refueling
-
Hi,
I am trying to refuel…
My main problem is the joystick sensitivity.
I am comparing refueling in DCS vs BMS.
In DCS I have no problem refueling after some practice - The throttle sensitivity is excellant. In BMS it’s not as sensitivce.
Is there a way to improve throttle sensitivity in BMS?
Thanks,
-
Hi,
For throttle sensitivity, it’s not possible within BMS AFAIK, but you might want to check Saitek (or Logitech) profiler settings for X56 to tweak the curves…
Also note that before BMS 4.34 there was an “Easy Refueling” setting which made throttle and stick inputs more forgiving during refueling but that’s not what you’re asking for most probably.

Hi cashman
Please elaborate on how “to tweak the curves”.
Thanks,
Bayonet.

With Update 1 you have the possibility to add exponentional curve settings to either joystick axes or cursor XY axis.

Bayonet hi, I was talking about tweaking the X/Y axis curves in “Saitek/Logitech Control Center” for X56 which is outside BMS. But mind you that, I was not aware of the solution Oakdesign provided. Most probably his solution will work better since it’s inside BMS.

So, is it RTFC time again?
Thanks a lot, oakdesign.
EDIT: and it works fine too, simply terrific what I can do now.
Just one more question for you: would be it possible to emulate in full those fine tuning setting commands got in that concurrent ( ) sim?
And more challenging even, plane by plane individually? With best regards.

Hello there, Oak.
About this matter, I’m trying to finalize those settings and understand what settings should I use, even to get these new ones in BMS config to match those custom made in the Logitech H.O.T.A.S utility.
What suggestions do you have for me? To leave all unchanged perhaps, I guess?
Thanks in advance for your attention too.
With best regards.
