MC is not touching those, better look what else you are doing.
Saving the mission with another name could ba a cause though.Gr Falcas

i do save the file with another name . . . so i guess this cause the problem.
FALCAS, thanks for the quick answer and MC is a great tool, i use it a lot.
Keep up the good work

Just make a copy/rename of the other files with the same name.

In the Balkans Theater there is a break in the link between objective Decenti Town and Decenti Bridge. In the map section of MC it looks like I can create that link but I can’t seem to save it? Does MC allow for editing links?

Yes with MC you are able to completely manage the links. But this has to be done in the te_new.tac or the saveX.cam files (X = 0 through 5)

@TGW:
Falcas,
I would like to first say thank you for creating this very fine editor for Falcon BMS! I do have one question, I do have to run my monitor with the larger fonts on the desktop, is there a way to select a smaller/larger sized font within your program? It would give me the ability to prevent bleedover of text outside of its designated dialog box. If not, would you consider it for a future release?
Thank you for your time in this matter. . .
Hey,
No, there is not option you can select.
Am running at 175% without any problem. Yes I know this is not what you want to hear, but give 175% a tryGr Falcas

Does anyone know where I find a Tutorial or manual on how to build a mission with MC Or include a new team in the campaign?

Hey Falcas…
I’m having a problem starting MC. It just doesn’t. I’ve tried reinstalling .NET - went from 4.0 to 4.5 to 4.8, nothing helped. I’m not sure where to go from here.
Cheers!

Not much info to help you out with…
If you have .NET 4.5 (or higher) installed, that part should be fine.
Just unpack the zip file in a directory you created. But do NOT unzip it into your BMS install!!!
Nothing more to explain.Gr Falcas

That’s what I thought too…I have used previous versions (and quite enjoyed them).
Currently have .NET 4.8 (had 4.7.2 prior to this), downloaded the most recent version of MC, unzipped it into an empty folder (different drive from BMS install), but when I try to start it, nothing happens. Not getting any antivirus nor firewall warnings either. Even tried a restart, to no avail.
Prior to my updating the software I tried using an older version and it complained of not being able to find certain files in the campaign folder. I chalked it up to having an incompatible version.
Cheers!

Try and see if you can install .NET 4.5. MC is build on that.

I did…no luck

Falcas is there anyway for the “costs” of the links to be adjustable?
Thanks! -

Thanks!Yeah, just change the value. Links can be found by opening an objective.

Thanks for the quick reply, I hoped maybe there is a config file or whatever so the “calculate links” would do it but ok I have to make a “path” through objectives then
-
As soon as you create a link between 2 objectives by using the option on the map (hold CTL and click) the costs are calculated automatically.
No need to change that. And note that costs are set in both directions!
What you can also do is is go to the Advanced Obj. There you can find a button which re-calculates all links for all Objectives. You could start changing the costs by hand… but well its a bit waste of time

Does MC create any files or registry entries that may carry over from one version to the next? Is uninstalling as simple as deleting the folder and it removes everything?
