Found RL FCR ECM video
-
In BMS, EW avoids STT but it also shows where the source is coming from.
You can find out the range/azimuth of the ECM emitting plane much easier than those who don’t.I just found a youtube video showing ECM symbology on RL F-16 FCR.
I assume this real FCR image showing possible emitter azimuth while their range is unknown. -

Another MFD shot from the same video.

Don’t mind sending pictures of features…
-
five things I noticed…
1 - I am guessing the panel layout is diferent because this is the instructor cockpit. Really don’t know.
2 - His HUD is probably anchored to the student one because it is inside a “box” with no visual to frontside (obviously, he doesnt want to se the pilot’s head in his HUD)
3 - They are flying with their master mode set in AA in what seens to be a “Navigation/landing training flight”, so It maches with what Stevie said here regarding how RL pilots may fly its Master Mode in transit/navigation flights.
4 - Is this pilot allowed to publish a video with this amount of information? It is ussually considered classified information, rigth??
5 - I noticed that the HSD shows what seems to be the TACAN around the ACFT. It is a very common feature in civil Navigational Dislplay (show stored database) that I miss in a combat aircrafts. Could this be implemented in BMS? Is it available in any F16 block?
VERY intersting video, indeed.

Awesome vid.
Cheers very much.

He may received Deception jamming, False target in Azimuth!

More jamming symbols here, from around 7.15:
The Nine G Pilot channel has a lot more interesting footage!

I am extremely happy to see a real ECM effect on the FCR. Thank you very much.
