Can you confirm it is AL v1.60 and put all the files into Falcon BMS 4.35/bin/x86?
-
Sorry, didn’t noticed 1.6 is out, it’s all OK now:p
-
I previously had AL 1.53 running in as a separate application. I tried the install instructions to place AL 1.6 in the X86 folder but there does not seem to be a “hub.exe” file in the 1.6 download to overwrite the default 4.35 install. There is in a “hub.exe” in the 1.53 download.

Launcher allows me to map commands to my TWCS 8 way hat but the sim doesn’t recognise the commands.
Anything I Can do about it.

Can I safely copy the old keybinds from 4.34 to the new launcher?
Or do I have to do all the keybinds again?
If I can safely copy over: Which files should I need to copy?
The controller hasn’t changed since. -
Hey!
I would like to suggest new features for the AL app:
1. Export\Import the key Setup for Falcon Key files and back to the app
2. New shortcuts for TrackIR\OpenTrack and Personal use - like Website links\throttle detector etcI like your launcher - i think it is a life saver for New players, and also for BMS veterans
Cheers :peace:

The controller hasn’t changed since. You can copy .xml files in User/Config
-
I myself don’t want AL to do anything outside that can done by editing BMS setup files.
(For ex: hooking another software command like TIR or emulating keyboard inputs.)It’s open-source so maybe someone can…

Thanks chihiro for your great effort in getting this ready for 4.35. Once you are used to AL you cannot go back to the setup screen for key bindings
+1

From post #632:
1.60 Released, Now Supports BMS 4.35.
To Transfer setup files to 4.35, copy all XML files in User/Config from 4.34 folder to 4.35.
https://github.com/chihirobelmo/Falc…ases/tag/v1.60
All I had to do was transfer those files and all my mapping worked as it did with old version.

Hello,
I have an issue with my TQS in Alternative Launcher. I cannot map my throttle axis correctly.
The blue bar does not change when moving the throttle, and it is not correctly mapped in the Falcon UI.
Here is a screenshot
Any help would be highly appreciated.

I am using AL for the first time. The instructions state:
I recommend make backups of the registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/BenchmarkSims/Falcon BMS 4.33 U1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/BenchmarkSims/Falcon BMS 4.33 U1
I can find the second item above but cannot locate the first item. My HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE file goes from AUEP to Caphyon with nothing in between. What am I doing wrong?

I think the Install Instructions may need to be updated… here’s what I do and AL is/has always functioned perfectly - hope it works for you.Download AL 1.60 into my “BMS 4.35” folder under “Downloads”
Extract AL 1.60 into a “BMS 4.35/AL 1.60” folder under “BMS 4.35” in “Downloads folder”
Find “Hub.exe”, send it to Desktop as Shortcut, rename Shortcut “AL 4.35”
Run it from the shortcut.Have the exact same setup (in a “BMS 4.34/AL 1.53” folder in “Downloads”) for AL 1.53 for BMS 4.34 running alongside, no issues.
-
Yes. I am running 4.35 and 1.60. I tried your method and no joy. I guess I am too thick to get this to work. Will keep trying though. When I click on the shortcut, nothing happens.

When I click on the link I get “not found”.

Can anything be done to have mouse wheel control hsi in single increments?
Tried saturation and windows scroll settings
-
Mouse whell works with acceleration so simply scroll your mouse slow and you get +1 scroll fast and you get +5 default timing is 60 ms between 2 scroll clicks, if you want to apply that to DX or keyboard inputs as well you could add the g_nKnobAccelerationDelta to your falcon bms.cfg file. setting this to a value will change the timing for the mouse wheel as well so setting it to 100 change the default 60 ms to 100 ms
g_nKnobAccelerationDelta When set to 0 it will make the “By1” and default “By5” callbacks
work without acceleration, i.e. By1 =1 and By5=5. Default = 60
milliseconds in which the next input has to occur. If g_nKnobAccelerationDelta is not 0 it will not change the
“By1” callbacks at all. Instead the “Normal” callbacks will
behave as “By1” if used once and accelerated to “By5” if used in
rapid succession. Basically if you move the controls slowly you
get By1 increment, if you move them faster you get By5
increments. Use SimHsiCourseInc, SimHsiCourseDec,
SimHsiHeadingInc, SimHsiHeadingDec, SimAltPressInc,
SimAltPressDec “normal’ callbacks for acceleration to work, not
the By1 callbacks.
