Happy Deving.

It’s Stef’s birthday? Well, I know how he parties on “normal” days, so I guess Taiwan won’t be out in the next 3 days or so while Stef nurses his hangover!

how to win the war for taiwan?
seize mainland? If you know how to use TacEdit and you know which cam file(save0/save1/save2) is, then you can read the win conditions in the trigger(.tri) files. Each trigger file is matched and name the same as it’s corresponding cam file, except it’s extension it .tri EX: save0.tri/save1.tri/save2.tri. In most theaters each event like the win condition has a blurb about what that event is. You just have to get the objectives ID #/#'s from the trigger file and find it in TacEdit to know what has to be capture to get a win.
There’s also the chance that a trigger file does not have a win condition and it only times out. I’ve seen a lot of theater that have unfinished trigger files and they are only setup to time out after a certain amount of hours.
I don’t have it installed so I can’t help you with the info for Taiwan. But if you like, you could send me the three cam files and the corresponding 3 trigger files and I could find it out for you.

I tried to read .tri with notepad and it works as .dat files , I discovered there are some events in balkans theater relative at seoul , that’s why to win campaign in balkans is impossible….?..
thanks Ram!

The reference to Seoul in the trigger files of other theaters is a remark entry, it’s preceded by two slashes and is not an active string. It’s the variables, i.e., the objective Id numbers contained within the active lines of the trigger file that determines the event, not the remark lines.
The reason the Balkans campaigns are not winnable is due to the nature of the campaign files and the corresponding trigger files. In layman’s terms, they are FUBARED!!
