Jan Has F-16 LV5 Update packs

Umm any answer to this I can
t tell if my Mod is working or not, or maybe I
m falling asleepIt all looks correct. Did you set up your shortcut to point to your Falcon BMS folder? You should have a JSGME.ini file in the root BMS folder
-
Yes, there is the JSGME.ini in BMS root folder.
-
It should be working as long as you have all the folders set up correctly. One thing to check is in your Terrdata/Objects folder is a KoreaObj.lod file. This file will be bigger in size when Jan Has models are implemented. Try enabling them and then look at this file….then disable them and look at this file…if the file size changes, everything should be in the correct folders.
-
Thanks, Cougar56th, the KoreaObj.lod is about 700MB bigger when Jan has models is activated thanks so much.
-
Ok so it should be working. Send a picture of the model when JanHas is activated. There should be more detail in the Jan Has model.

With the current version for 4.35.1 I only see the landing light cone but not the broader one of the taxi lights.I looked at the F-16C Block 40, 50, and 52 and all of them are working for me. Is anyone else having this issue?
yes, sir, but on Balkans (only updated the Balkans, not Korea)

Thank you……Your picture did not come thru.

Hi there Cougar,
first off: thanks for your efforts!
We used the installer to include the mod for KTO.
We see the same problem: no difference between the light cones when switching between taxi and landing lights. It would be great if you could point us to a solution.
Thanks and regards,

Ok…I have fixed the landing light issue with the Korea KTO Jan Has pack. The link is in the first post. I updated the Balkans landing light as well. The color is changed a little bit and the taxi cone is smaller than previous. The landing cone should be 5 degrees at the narrowest part and 15 degrees at the widest part. The taxi cone should be 15 degrees at the narrowest part and 30 degrees at the widest part. If you have downloaded the previous landing light fix for the Balkans, the one on the first post is newer.

Hi Cougar,
thanks for fixing the lights.
Last night we tried to go on a mission with the patched installation. Most of us experienced a instant CTD when going into 3D. I was able to reproduce it offline.
I’ve tried it with a vanilla installation afterwards and it went just fine - no CTD.You might wanna look into https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?41826-Instant-CTD-on-mission-start&p=570269#post570269 for details.
Cheers,
SP -
As MaxWaldorf said, Jan Has models are not bug free. They use higher poly counts which can cause a CTD if the sim gets overloaded. A risk is always taken when installing mods. That is why the JGSME tool is very handy to be able to turn them off.
