What is strange about it? Have you taken a look at the name of the theater in the TDF file?
If theater builders start giving names like that to theaters, it is no wonder that external software can’t cope anymore.Gr Falcas

I will update WDP so it will recognize the Battle of Sinai theater as soon as I can. But I am going on holidays tomorrow.

Have fun…

I’ve made a cursory check of the airbase elevations and spotted some potential errors:
Region Airbase/strip Elev.(chart) Elev.(WDP) Notes China Shenyang 254 262 WDP chart outdated North Korea Kaech'on 204 516 WDP chart outdated Kaech'on SW 516 240 South Korea Mandumi 239 259 Seoul 258 137 Sokcho 6 77 ```In the two indicated cases WDP appears to include outdated (2006) charts. edit: typo

Thanks for the heads up!
You can imagine that keeping track of everything is a b…
The elevationsof the WDP database are the actual elevation take from BMS, but will check those anyway.Gr Falcas

Took care of your typo. No need to thank me:D

Yeah, because the ones on the charts have been tested manually on the runway, but these have changed quite often in OF, bms.
They were accurate with the date of the chart -
:rofl::
I thank you anyway. -
About the charts from 2006, it gives you some indication how long and how much time RD has put in al the excellent charts and maps he made. :bowd:

OK, I got interested in WDP a couple of days ago and I’ve been studying how it works. I’ve pretty much gone over this entire thread among other sources as well. I seem to have it working fine and using the “work around” to get everything loaded in the game, all is well. However, I’ve been told that WDP has a tendency to change default radio channels and frequencies. This could be a significant problem since our squads utilize the in game IVC. Is this a known issue? Anything I should know about this issue?
-
It is actually the other way around. Users of BMS are the ones that mess up freqs in the DTC.
WDP is made to correct these mess ups -
Hi,
New version released. Latest version is now 3.4.2
Complete changelog can be found here: https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?5293-Weapon-Delivery-PlannerIn this version, the Battle For Sinai is included. It will give you all the correct frequencies for the airports in this theater.
Some are different than those in the Israel theater.
And there are other little changes and fixes as well.Work continues.
Enjoy,

Tactical Engagements>Saved. That’s for ingame. Not sure for WDP and if you access them via WDP.

For the default Korea theater this location is: Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Campaign\SAVE
When you click the “open mission” button you will get a default windows open file screen.
As there are a lot of files in this directory, WDP makes use of the filter option of the windows open file screen.
This filter has 4 options. All, *.CAM, *.TAC and *.TRN.
If you select “All” you will see all the files located in this directory.
*.CAM will show you only the campaign files
*.TAC will show you only the Tactical Engagement files
*.TRN will show you only the Training Mission.Gr Falcas

I love WDP for VRP/VIP etc. but have always had difficulty understanding the rest of the functionality and how to integrate between the game and WDP.
A case in point…. want to fly the Gossip Mill mission, so have loaded up the Gossip Mill TE in-game
- in game I have adjusted the default load-out to include some Mavericks and an extra tank, and created a target steerpoint and a couple of pre-planned threats (SA2s) and saved this all to the DTC
- in WDP, I “open mission” at the first screen and load up Gossip Mill.tac, and then find and select my flight
- when asked "is the DTC for this flight (word missing?) - I answer “Yes”
- the Datacard information is then shown, but my adjusted load-out is not shown (no Mavericks / extra tank)
- I then click on Get DTC - and load up Gossip Mill.ini - but again, the adjusted loadout is not shown
So, I’m not in a Campaign, the callsign and mission.ini lights are green… how do I get the WDP to agree with the game (or do I have to do the Alt-Tab dance?)
