Hi JanHas.
When I push the Taxi / Landing Light switch to each position, it seems that only Taxi Light always emits light when viewed from the outside.
Sometimes I’m wrong…please check when you have time.Thank you for all the wonderful models!

What model?
In current 4.35 only the 1 light box works appearing ON, with landing light switch either in landing or taxi positions. The actual light in front of the aircraft though should be reflecting the proper position/functionality: the landing position should produce a smaller FOV light with a slight down-angle compared to the taxi position which has bigger fov and looks straight ahead.
Depending on the affecting LV5 model and release version/date, there might be wrong values on the plane FM file.
I’ve updated all such values for upcoming emf version LV5 vipers, (JanHas was informed about these values), for both planes with the light boxes on NLG as and older MLG’s.

Updates for most LV5 models, release date yesterday April 28, 2021.
Fixes on some issues discovered here and there, plus publicly released some new birds previously build for EMF theater.
As always HUGE thanks to Mr. JanHas for his full dedication, passion, and attention to detail.
I can publicly state this game and these models had received the best comments from very very high levels, and I can assume future will be even better at all aspects…

I just found out your F-16 models do not work with BMS visor on and off keys.
I wonder if you have a plan to integrate yours with BMS one. -

I am trying to apply JanHas’ trees. Is it possible to add the 3d trees using the JSGME tool or is Lod Editor the only way?

The PDF instruction that come with them tell you to use 3ddb_builder.exe for the 3D trees……the 2D ones look like a copy and paste.
I had quite a massive fps hit with 4.35 and the 3D trees…probably DX11 related so left them out.

Same here for 3d trees FPS impact.

Do you get FPS back when you turn down trees in UI? Because I don’t get any change in FPS with trees turned all the way down?

I replaced the original trees and FPS jumped higher

Yes me too. But weird thing when you turn trees off I don’t get any fps gain.

Trees u see in Airbases doesnt have anything to do with the trees in the rest of the theater

JanHa’s F-16s are a piece of art no doubt, but I noticed some difference between the real jet’s air duct and the models presented thereof. The difference in this P&W type can be seen sharply when looking at the sides of the mouth, the real jet is more round
it’d be very nice if these can match.

It looks like you are comparing big mouth with small mouth in those pictures. P&W don’t use big mouth. Big mouth was introduced for GD engine when they realized it needed more air. (After block 30 ones)

that’s my point actually, they are both P&W.

I think you meant GEYes GE.Typo. Left one in your pics is correct for P&W. Right one is not correct for P&W, it is a bigmouth. If it is actually a P&W it is a rare bird indeed.
