Problem with same Accdata files required and emergency jettison
-
Two facts that may be worth noting:
- for an air-to-air training with a simple TE I wanted to host a game. In F4 patch, I had checked “Same Accdata Files Required”. No one could connect to me while no change had been made by the other players on their freshly installed 4.36 version. Once “Same Accdata files required” was unchecked, obviously no more problems.
- In 2 different engagements, 3 out of 8 players were unable to fire their AIM120 C missiles after making an emergency jetttison of their tanks. This doesn’t happen every time, but it does from time to time.

Related to the “ACDATA” files check, why is it necessary to include MFD color changes?
I’m all in favor of preventing [aircraft] performance hacks, model changes, etc., but MFD color? I can’t see why that should matter.

@Rouge1512 Do you modified database in any way as a host? Even the change of MFD colors will be registered.
For better MP performances it is recommended to have the same ACDATA for all clients/server.In terms of the AIM120: sounds to me like hung stores which is now implemented in 4.36.
Cheers

Hello
Acdata: I really and absolutely did not change anything if it is the default POV and the maximum POV in the config.cfg. I don’t think these two operations alone are enough to explain the blocking?
Hung: are the AIM 120 affected by the hung malfunction ? What happens is that once the target is locked, the large circle in the HUD remains fixed as if the acquisition did not take place. I can’t reproduce it in SP for the moment. -
Okay. Another guess: Your ports we’re forwarded correctly (2934-2935, 9987-9989) -> User Manual Page 73?
"Hung: are the AIM 120 affected by the hung malfunction ? "
Yes. SMS page will show “Hung” on the affected station. -
- No problem with my ports.
- Does the “hung” prevent the ASEC in the hud from working properly ?
Thank you for your interest

Did everyone apply the patch we posted?
This will create issues if not applied by everyone in MP…
