Ah, thanks for checking.
I will have to look into why this is and see if there’s an easy fix. Unfortunately I also need to update VMT to work with the new file formats in 4.34, and that has priority. So it’s going to be a while before I can even look at what the problem is.

Hi Gents,
I’m also seeing the issue with ACMI files recorded in 4.34. Very odd!

Hello, Tyrant.
Should you have some news for us about the future update?
Thanks in advance!
With best regards.

Sorry - still haven’t looked at this. Thanks for the reminder.
If it’s something simple I should be able to get a fix out. If it’s more complex, well, we’ll see. It was quite difficult to update VMT to accommodate the changes in 4.34. The 4.33 version of LSOBot had to build in a bunch of heuristics for things like wire locations. If that stuff has changed, I don’t know whether I can face trying doing all the trial-and-error that’s required to figure out what it looks like in 4.34.
Anyway, like I said hopefully it’s something simple like a change in the TacView file format (which is well-documented) that I’m not accounting for. I’ll try to spend some time looking into this and post an update here when I have some idea what’s going on.

OK, so I finally looked at this…and it’s working fine for me in 4.34, which is what I would expect given that it runs off of TacView files, which haven’t changed.
So a few things to try:
- Make sure you are loading TacView ACMI files, not BMS .vhs files
- Make sure you are saving .acmi.txt files in TacView, not .acmi.zip files.
- Try to only record ACMI for the period of flight right around the time you trap. It’s okay if you start a while before/after, but if you record an entire two-hour flight in a busy campaign, your browser is going to struggle to load the resulting data. You can flip ACMI momentarily off and on again when you enter downwind, for example. That will start a new file.
The LSOBot tutorial video is at
. If the above isn’t clear it might be helpful. If you’re doing all that and it’s still not working, perhaps you can post the ACMI here so I can try it for myself.
Thanks, and good luck!

[“Lineup & Wing”] : What does this mean? My recorded reality is (LULIC) (LULAR), but I don’t understand, please
thank you -
This is why I never mind thread necros. I missed this was a thing and one of my random fun flying challenges is just carrier traps in DCS with Supercarrier module to see the best grade I can swing. It’s another thing I don’t have to bounce back to and stay in BMS.

@asleepwater Sorry, been away from the sim for quite a while, and notifications for me stopped working when the forum upgraded. Did you figure this out?
Honestly I’m surprised LSOBot still works.
