Question for Threat Guide, CBU munitions
-
Hello,
What does “lethal radius” mean for CBUs on p. 61? The overall dispersion of all the submunitions is determined by the burst altitude (BA), so BA determines the extent of the kill-zone on the ground. But what does lethal radius mean in this context?
And a followup question, some “lethal radius” values are a single number, while others are two numbers, eg. 1150x1300. What does the latter mean ?
Cheers

Cheerssome CBU bombs target rather the troops than the vehicles and
in BMS, I guess , radius lethal is for troops while destruction area for vehicles
