@MaxWaldorf
Thank you Max -
@anothen laptop? it will not be a great experience … does it have a discrete Nvidia GPU at all or just the integrated Intel graphics? and what is your screen resolution.

@airtex2019
it is a Razor gaming laptop. I forgot what the graphics are, I can’t figure out where to find that info. -

@anothen run DxDiag.exe
-
Let’s be honest, you’re not going to perform very well with BMS…
Tune down all GFX settings in BMS configuration and see how it performs…

@airtex2019
I don’t know how to put screenshots here, but I did finally figure out how to run dxdiag.exe.
I have display 1 and 2, 1 is Intel UHD Graphics 630, 2 is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with Max-Q design. I’m not sure which of these two are even running. I expect that it is the NVIDIA. -
@anothen Sounds pretty good. I have an older laptop with the hybrid gpu. BMS runs ok.
My screen is high resolution so I have to turn all the various graphics options down/off. But 1080p with those specs should be fine for 60 fps or better.

I don’t know how to put screenshots hereIn the most basic manner, you can press the Print Screen button on your keyboard (if you have one) and then just CTRL+V to paste here in a reply box where you type text.
You also can use Windows Snip & Sketch … press SHIFT+WINDOWSKEY+S
…there are selections along the top for the area to snip, mouse drag is the default you will start on - just move the mouse cursor to where you want the screenshot to start, hold left-click and drag the mouse to encompass what you want to screenshot, and then release left-click. This image will now be in your clipboard - you can literally paste it into a reply box here with CTRL+V or onto any image website such as imgur.If you want more controls, such as viewing the snip after taking it, drawing on it free-hand or with ruler guides or protractor, you can open the Windows Snip & Sketch program itself (I keep it pinned to my start menu). You can even select a 3 or 10 second delayed snip so you can prepare before the capture, helpful for screenshotting mouse-hover text or other timed events.
Best wishes and good luck!
