You just need a better PDF reader app, then… Been forever since I used my kindle, and can’t recall the name of the reader app I used, but it had everything we’d want including a dark/light mode that worked fairly well with most PDF’s.
There’s nothing special about BMS manuals and standard PDF’s

I think Arsenius means Kindle ebook reader not Kindle Fire tablet. Or you’re saying that you can alter the default reader in Kindle ebook reader? I haven’t heard of that. From my experience ebook readers are not convenient to read PDFs directly, because in PDF the content is “static” (i.e cannot change font size, as on webpage or as on mobi/epub) and zooming in on page-as-a-picture was slow. There are converters from PDF to mobi or epub but they tend to produce poor results with more complex material, like BMS manuals.

Yes, Kindle e-ink readers are not good to read PDF’s. The screen is 6 inches and fonts are usually too small. You can zoom in but it’s slow and unreliable and once zoomed you need to move the page at a very slow pace.

@Arsenius in the past you were able to email you the pdf to your kindle account and it will convert it for you.

This is still valid as we speak
