Unsolved Adding callbacks with Auto Launcher?
-
How to add new key commands into the existing auto.key without starting from scratch?
I used to just copy the new callbacks into my custom key file but, with the new launcher I don’t know, for sure, how to do it.
I’m afraid that everything will be overwrittencase in point:
I want to add; SimVRHMDReset -1 0 0XFFFFFFFF 0 0 0 1 “SIM: VR Camera Rotation Reset”It’s in the full key but not the auto key
-
@Badger My understanding – if you open
BMS - Auto.key
in notepad, and add that missing line in there somewhere, it will get picked up.(Just don’t copy/paste the line from the forum here, because it messes up the doublequotes. Copy it directly from BMS-Full.key … notepad to notepad.)
Be not afraid … but make a backup copy first.

@Badger What he said. Or you could apply the call back in the alternative launcher putting SIM: VR Camera Rotation Reset in the filter field, and setting it there.

@Kavelenko Did you add the new callbacks to BMS-Full.key – does the launcher pick them up from there? (referring to the block of callbacks that were missing from BMS*.key in the release)
https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/24013/falcon-bms-4-37-0-callback-fix
[Edit: apparently I’m confused … that callback is in the original release key files, line 1048 of BMS-Full, but it’s also listed on that forum sticky for some reason. nevermind!]
But for the callbacks which are actually new… yes just add them (top, bottom, anywhere afaik) to BMS-Auto.key

@airtex2019 I assume my BMS Auto profile was created from BMS full so that particular call back must already be in it because I never added it myself.

The trouble I “WAS” having was because I have a very custom key file going way back, and when making changes in the auto.key the are not saved.
This is now solved with the U1 version and some explanation from Chihi, we can now select what key to load in to the Auto Launcher, make changes to it and AL then saves it as the auto.key. Works great.
