Odd, I just downloaded it no issue…
Yep, must be a GDrive issue or a poor message to indicate its overloaded. Grabbed it fine this time. Thanks.
-
@Icer first post updated with fast temporary download link

@vAiCon Thanks for your and your teams work. Big thumps up.
I just wonder if it is possible to swap the fir trees in the Sinai desert to lets say palm trees? Or is object sharing between theaters preventing this?
I also saw quite a few buddhist temples in the near east btw.Cheers

Im trying to make the minimal support for the current Terrain,
Hopefully in future releases you would get everything you just said, and way more -
I’m getting winter tiles in Israel. Do I need to change weather to August?
Rebooted its fine now.
-
@vAiCon Would you please also provide the torrent file? I can’t open either Gdrive or SendGB. Many thanks.

Israel Theater v1.07.2 for BMS 4.37U2 have been published
Enjoy! -
hey, first of all let me thank you all for this amazing piece of work. The idea to put the original Iron Eagle OST in the ITO80 version is simply a stroke of genius, and immediately sent me back in the 80’s when I was a kid
I have a question/bug report tho: as you may expect I’m trying to recretate THAT mission in particular from the movie by using only F-16A & B Netz with the “correct” loadout (I know, it’s hollywood, but who cares), and I noticed that neither block 15 A’s nor B’s Netz can equip multiple Mavericks with the TER, only a single AGM65A & B can be equipped. The “standard” US F-16 block 15 in the same theater can instead equip up to 3 on stations 3&7
Mk82 bombs can be correctly equipped on TER’s on all the planes
As the movie real footage of Netz’s clearly shows (https://tenor.com/bqmGF.gif), 1986’s Israeli jets could load multiple Mavericks on stations 3&7, so I was wondering whether this is an oversight as the Netz are based on the standard US planes of that time
-
@CloudWallace1981 Glad you like it, the inclusion of the Iron Eagle OST goes back to UOAF’s first 80s mod of the ITO theater for BMS 4.33, for tradition’s sake it has been maintained that way.
Maverick TERs not being available on Netz jets is in fact an oversight, will be fixed for v1.07.3
-
much appreciated
EDIT: I forgot to mention that maybe the Netz should also be capable to carry Python 3’s beside the regular AIM-9L & P’s, but I do not have any source on that unfortunately (only this picture with no date attached: https://i-com.cdn.gaijin.net/monthly_2022_10/image_2022-10-04_131538615.png.5c75955eb7e9076a29adf325b128e565.png). The KFIR C7 already does that in the theater, so it think it should be added for consistency

Netz should not carry python 3 as far as i know. Israel having GBU39 and AIM120, why not mounting it on top of every F16 varient (Barak and netz for example) ?
cuz of IAF procedures and priorities,
Same hereAlso, Note that the picture is probably not describing an operational configuration, im not familiar with Python that mounted on the wingtips of the F16s, its always on the internal hardpoints

try to remove the theater and install from scratch
-
@vAiCon Already tried it but I’ll try again.
-
@MnMailman make sure to use Uninstaller, then download the Main installer of 1.07.2 (not the updater), and then install hotfix ontop of the clear install, do not use any mods.
Make sure to backup any mission or data which is located in the theater
Note - the installers arent robust and need to be handled carefully through the instructions above.

Yes, that is what I’ve done. But I’ll try it again. Thanks for the help and the theater!
