Solution for Rdr Cursor on X52
-
I have been working on a new profile for the X52s and it has been a bit of headache. But finally I found the solution to be able to put the cursor controls on the ministick.
First make the ministick in the programming software into bands.
You should have 3 boxes per ministick
On ministick X the top box is: SHFT+ArrowRight, the middle box is: SHFT+Y, the bottom box is: SHFT+ArrowLeft.
On ministick Y the top box is: SHFT+ArrowUp, the middle box is: SHFT+Y, the bottom box is: SHFT+DownArrow.
If this does not work, look for a possible keybinding conflict.

@101-Grizzly +1 for this! Bands solution is a solid one, I use it in my Falconeer profile as well.
I personally prefer to remove the “shift” modifier to the arrows in the keyfile, though, to simplify the keys pressed by the Saitek STT software. Another great tip is quantifying the timings to at least 0.05 (or 50 milliseconds). This can eliminate problems before they occur such as a virtual key press/release not getting recognized due to being too close in time to another virtual key press/release, especially if using the default “SHIFT+KEY” modifier key presses/releases.

That’s the way I used to have it, but it stopped working correctly ~2 years ago (driver update? 4.36…?).
Either way, I did the registry edit method which removes the twist rudder, but adds real axises to the ministick which has been working great,
