@jayb
I figured it out. It was a keybinding conflict. in the command “Cursor Stop” the keys “Shft+Y” are used.
When used as a simple keypress in the programming software it somehow stands on the “Y” forever. So I just changed it to an advanced command so the "Y"would release normally.
And miraculously, I just had a full flight without a hitch.
Thanks for your help! It made order out of Chaos in my brain.

I always loved flying. I was a member of The QuebecAirforce.com for about 10 years and that was a while ago. I picked up BMS 4.37 just a few days ago and I have to say, WOW! Quite an improvement in the last 15 to 20 years. Will be working hard to get back to a shadow of what I was.
Thanks!

Solution for Rdr Cursor on X52
I have been working on a new profile for the X52s and it has been a bit of headache. But finally I found the solution to be able to put the cursor controls on the ministick.
First make the ministick in the programming software into bands.
You should have 3 boxes per ministick
On ministick X the top box is: SHFT+ArrowRight, the middle box is: SHFT+Y, the bottom box is: SHFT+ArrowLeft.
On ministick Y the top box is: SHFT+ArrowUp, the middle box is: SHFT+Y, the bottom box is: SHFT+DownArrow.
If this does not work, look for a possible keybinding conflict.

RE: Keyboard stops working mid flight
OOPS!!
Spoke to soon. It is something that happens everytime.
I like long flights so I always take a Deep Strike or a Barcap so I have time to play with the radar equipment to familiarize myself. Everytime inside 20 minutes of flight without having done anything particular, keyboard quits working and there is no way for me to exit nothing works. I litteraly have to crash the plane to exit. Once I do the Exit screen appears and everything is back to normal.Thought I had fixed it but I guess there is always more…

CMS Keyboard shortcut missread.
I was having difficulties with the CMS button. I tried different methods of mapping. Nothing worked. The thing is sometimes it would work.
Until I was testing the buttons in the BMS UI and realized the command being read by the UI was “Shft+Alt+Home”. But the command mapped on my profile is “Alt+Home”.
Immediately, I openned the launcher to check in the keymapping section and of course it read the command as is. So I went back in the BMS UI setup and of course the first thing that comes up is the command with the “Shft” added. So I played around with a few commands to see if other command where wrong. I didn’t get anymore but who knows.
At one point i put in my CMS up command in and all of a sudden its “Alt+Home”, WTH!!!
Because I’ve been working on a profile for a few days and its becoming clear to me why I’m having such a hard time. There are a few instabilities there. We just have to hope for update #3. It seems its always the third one.

It was actually set to Borderless by default. Never even noticed it.
I guess in windowed mode it would be easier to get out. But is there another reason you are asking? -

@Ferde
Like I said, when I loose the keyboard, I loose every way of getting out of the 3d world short of shutting down the computer by cutting power.Alt+tab or Ctrl+Alt_Del or even the Windows key are useless. I litteraly have to crash the jet. Then the Escape window comes up and the keyboard works again.
Explain that one. -

You might have something there. There is one software that since I have installed it my Windows 11 as crashed twice in less than a week. And that is a first. This Windows machine never ever crashed since its first install. That software even though it is a piece of crap it is a necessary evil. It is the Saitek Programming software. I hate to say it because I love their products. But this software needs a serious update.
But in the meantime I must try to find a workaround. -

Keyboard stops working mid flight
I use my old X52s at the moment and they are causing me a few headaches but this problem with my keyboard I can’t seem to solve.
I enter the 3d world and everything works just fine. I go through the rampstart or not and still everything works fine. I take off fly for a while and then all of a sudden, no more keyboard and I can’t even escape. I litteraly have to crash the jet to get outAnyone have clue?.
