Mouse control for external views
-
Hi,
I am trying to get the mouse to control the camera when using external views (orbit camera etc).
I have headtracking enabled with Opentrack, and I am using Alternative Launcher.
In the Alternative Launcher, I have “External MouseLook” ticked in the AxisAssign - Views section. EDIT: I also have “Enable External MouseLook” green in the Setup - Controllers - Advanced Options in BMS.
Currently it is the headtracking which is controlling the camera, which is awful.
What am I missing?
Thanks,

Check the config file for g_bExternalTrackIR and set to 0

Quick question: g_bExternalTrackIR is set to 0 for me, but I still get the external view controller by track ir (and mouse).
Any ideas on how to use mouse only?Milion thanks!

@Glove You could open the Configuration Utility and verify that you have unchecked the boxes shown below - click APPLY when done - this would be the preferred way to edit user config file:
(sometimes special or new items must be dealt with manually in the config file, but this util should be checked first)EDIT: You could also just Pause TrackIR head tracking and un-Pause it when done using external view.

@SemlerPDX
Thanks, indeed I first checked in the config application and the box was not marked.
But your alternative solution with the track ir is also a good idea.
