EZBoards - Generate kneeboards (flights, comms, stpts, weather) from briefings
-
@Logic Thanks a lot.
-
Good morning
It seems the ODS brief is copied in Korea folder, nor Mideast foloder
-
-
Yes.
Thank you!
-
@Logic Why this error?
Edit: Problem went away after I shut down WDP. -
@MnMailman said in EZBoards - Generate kneeboards (flights, comms, stpts, weather) from briefings:
Trying to use this I get a “System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException: The given key “Package Elements:” x = Primary Flight, was not present in this dictionary”.
Any ideas ?
This issue is happening again. And I think only in Baltic Theatre, so may not be EZBoards - but I wouldn’t know how to confirm that.
This lines formatting has changed - this errors:
Package Elements: x = Primary Flight
but if I edit to:
Package Elements: x = Primary Flight
it works. Basically, I insert an extra space after the
:
and after thex
I’m running V12.

@CriticalMass
Thanks for reporting. I can confirm that I do not have this issue in KTO. I’m at loss why this would be theater-dependent. Probably best talking about it with Max Waldorf, the maintainer of Baltic? -

I’m trying to edit the “Theatres” txt file to use EZBoards with Baltic theatre, however I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing as I can’t find Koreaobj in the Baltic theatre path… anyone care to help ?
-
@Itarrow If there’s no KoreaObj folder under the theatre folder (…\Data\Add-On Baltic\Terrdata\objects), it uses the default one from KTO (…\Data\TerrData\Objects\KoreaObj) (unless the objects parameter in the .tdf file for the theatre explicitly points to another one which exists. This is not the case for the Baltic I believe).
-
@Fish44 thanks for you reply: so what I should write on the “Theatres.txt” confit file of EZBoard ? Should I write there the path of the Baltic Theatre terrdata folder or simply not write anything, and therefore have EZBoard looking into the default KTO folder ?
Thanks again for your reply !
-
@CriticalMass can you post the workaround also here or a link ? Sorry but I’m not using Discord and I’m trying to setup EXBoards with Baltic Theatre, however I keep getting this same error…
[EDIT: a simple update of the Baltic Theatre through the Theatre Updater tool got rid of the issue. Thanks all for your patience anyway]

Hi @MnMailman ,
did you figure it out? What does it say on the console? What theater are you using? -

@Logic Do you think this may become open source. I would love to add the airport information the the html as im using it on an ipad. That would give me everything on my knee.
-
Hi @gbracer08 ,
what do you have in mind with the airport information?
Do you mean static data? Or something drawn from the briefing?
EZBoards is already quite “open source” in the sense that it is basically a batch script that runs some external tools. The batch script is freely editable and for everyone to see.
The only closed part still is xbrief, the tool I wrote that extracts the briefing information to HTML. And yes, I will put that to open source as well at some point. -
@Logic I would love to have the airport information like frequency, tacan, ils etc as well as for the tankers so I dont have to go to the pdf of everything i have on my tablet… WDP does this, but I wouldn’t need to use it if ez had that info. Thanks. Great program as i love the auto monitoring and server for my tablet

Just wanted to verify that it does not fill in the data card on the right kneeboard?
-
@MailMan Hi, not sure what your question is? It does overwrite the left and right of the first pages of the kneeboards by default. But it can be modified by changing the script.
It’s the line saying
SET TARGETFILE=7982.dds
If you increase the number there, you’ll shifting it to higher pages, but it’ll always be the left and right of the same page number.
