all types of f-16's cockpit and sounds files mod
-
@sheref was just joking. that could be fixed by myself. it looks great
-
@Obi1 Thatās why I hate to share my private files online. Constant provocation.
-
Maybe I should delete this topic, I suffer from cancer and I donāt want other psychological troubles
-
Looks great! Thank you.
I canāt wait to go home and DL them.
Mud -
It looks very cool, Iām gonna try that
-
@sheref Hey Sheref, your cockpit pics look good to my untutored eye. Try not to be so sensitive or discouraged - all artists must expect criticism! I donāt recall anybody saying theyāre unrealistic.
And even if the sound mod has some enhanced sounds- as previously stated (and Iām no judge)- people donāt have to use them if they donāt want to. This sim would be nowhere without modders.
-
my unfriendly comment is that they look stunning
-
Hello @Obi1 ,
I believe that the reflected shadows on both MFDās are correct. Just like mirrors: if you have 2 mirrors, you obtain the same reflected image. Why should the shadows be asymmetric? -
Hi @sheref,
Nice work! I am still flying with the cockpit that you have shared some time ago. Nice piece of art. -
@ sheref Get well soon! Stay positive! Nice work! I think the idea is the left pic of mfd reflections should look like right pic of mfd reflections. They should in fact be symetrical not identical. Small thing.
-
@sheref Your work is just overbrilliant, magnificient !
-
@Magnum1964 Like Icarus explained. And sorry Sheref, I did not wanted to be negative. It was just a reaction to your introduction that seemed a bit sarcastic. It was just a point for maybe a improvement if you want to strive perfection yourself, thatās all.

@sheref Really sorry to hear about your suffering, manā¦
Stay good.

@sheref Hi sheref, could you add some installation notes please? Some of us are not mod savvy. Why are there two cockpit texture files?
-
Hi @danster, I assume that the files in the zip-folder āAll F-16_s Cockpit Textures.7zā need to be copied in the BMS-folder C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Terrdata\Objects\KoreaObj_HiRes. The file sca-file contained in the zip-folder ācockpit texture need it.7zā should probably be written in the folder C:\Falcon BMS 4.37\Data\Engine\Shaders\Cache\D3D11\PS. You can use the Mod Enabler JSGME (the same used to enable the JanHas models) to enable or disable any new skin/texture you want to try.

@sheref Looks great, thanks for sharing! Love the worn look of the cockpit and that the ICP is more easily readable now. I followed @Magnum1964 installation instructions and it worked. However I donāt know what to do with the sound files (from f16_s sounds WIP v.3.00_ 4.37.7z). Any idea how to install those?
Before and after:
-
@sheref thanks for this. Looks great!
-
if you want to promote your work ,Sheref ,for many users not used to this type of mode, it would be nice if it could be configured to install directly with JSGME because it includes automatically the paths where the files needs to be saved and in same time, it is easy to uninstall without and come back to originalā¦I m pretty sure this kind of request have been already asked you in the pastā¦
-
so, like the last time I have to say Iām really impressed with your work, @sheref
I think it has already been pointed out, but my only critique is the fact that the reflection of the canopy/ejection seat in the Right MFD should be mirrored. The pitot tube is clearly visible on the left side of the screen, should be on the right
Iām playing in 2880x1620 downsampled to 1080p with Nvidia DLDSR, looks gorgeous
