@Ripper Such a great podcast! Interesting content, great production quality and the host sounds like a pro. I just listened to it and it really speaks to me as someone that is in the middle of learning BMS. Looking forward to the next episode.

Agreed… BibleClinger (I believe his name is) did an outstanding job. He is intelligent and very articulate as well. I really loved his explanation of BMS guys being referred to as elitist with “Read the manual” replies. Such a great explanation. Hard to believe this is his first Pod Cast.

I listened to the first episode, and I think it was really good, too.
Bible did a good job of presenting things clearly, he has a good “presenter voice” and a smooth way of speaking about complex topics.
I think he did a good, careful job of explaining the “read the manual” potential issue, by giving an example of someone asking a question (like “how do I fire an AMRAAM?”) which is overly broad, and which actually makes it hard for people to help the questioner effectively.
Life is full of situations in which someone asks a short, simple-sounding question, but in doing so they have forced the person/people who might answer the question into a trap. I think Bible’s explanation of this, in the context of BMS, was really valuable. It is a dilemma that applies in many different parts of life. He spelled it out very well for the context of BMS.
I enjoyed the rest of the podcast, too, and I hope it is able to continue and thrive!

That was both good and entertaining. As a newbie in sims I’m looking forward to the next episodes!

@Ripper Really enjoyed the interview and all the various tips that are not so obvious for less experienced players. Again, great production quality (even better than last time) and great work by the host.
I’m upcoming episodes I would love to hear some updates on future plans for Benchmark Sim and Microprose when the time comes.
Also, I’m always interested in Life Pro Tips or whatever you might want to call it from BMS players on playing BMS itself, learning things (anyone else using Anki to learn abbreviations?), hardware setup, most used keybinds, most useful external tools, and interviews with people in general that contribute to the game/tools/maps/mods/run events or servers.
I’d also be interested in an audio version of contents from the -1/-34/user manual that you can listen to while you’re out and about, that explains things in plain English without having to look at the visualizations in the document. Not sure if that’s possible at all and this is probably out of scope for a podcast, so just bringing this up as a side note.
In any way great job and I’m looking forward to the next episode.

I’m glad people are enjoying the podcast. Thank you for your feedback. I’m listening to what I hear, and I’m trying to make this a good experience for the community.
One plan I’m working on is to take “calls” via Discord in future episodes.

Love TacFreq especially episode two…no particular reason. Listening to Ep 3 right now. MIC FRIGHT is a real thing!!

Listening to it today - it is a very well done production.

@Ripper Another great podcast episode. Regarding the ads, I can see why they are necessary, but personally I would like it more if there was at most one “a message from our sponsor” ad break during the episode. The current amount of ad breaks disturbs the flow a little for me. Still, a ton of great information. Appreciate that you all invested your time to make it happen.

This feedback is good. How many ads did you hear during episode 3? It seems that different people are getting different numbers of ads.
-
@BibleClinger If I remeber correctly I had three ad breaks with one ad break repeating the ad, so I listened to the same ad ~four times.
-
Anyone not willing to RTFM for this deep Sim will quickly be culled out…as it should be.

I had one ad at the before the last segment. But I also listened as soon as it dropped.
